@andré-faria Had it for a month, since I got the watch. So far so good. Don’t really count on it to last long. Plastic snapping might be indeed a $569 problem Sadly, life is full of them.

I’ve looked at adjusting TP zones in the past. I’ve generally been using 80/20 zones for Hr, Pace, and Power in TP because I train with 80/20 Endurance training plans. Those zones actually have 7 different values. Fortunately, when TP sends the structured workouts to Suunto it is by value rather than by zone. I also use TSS( p ) by default in TP. Values match well for me.

@krakra I understand that @deserthike20 accepted this flaw. I trust that functionality is ensured and it is just an optical issue. Similar to the Pixel 5 glass and fram gap issue when it was first released. I am nitpicky in such cases and would want it to be perfectly assembled. it seems nobody here has ever asked Suunto support for a statement. Try to reach out to them, they are very kind and helpful

@stas-varazhbit said in Suunto 9 Peak heart rate plateau: My maximum heart rate after a running test is 208, so 210 is no surprise to me. 205 for me on FTP test, but some years ago I got 200 + (check here, with ambit 2 and suunto hr belt new at the time)

The slow start is due to loading the activity screens. There was always this issue especially when switching activity types. The timer should though count correct. Regarding the GPS logging typically around second 1-10 it logs the first sample and that depends on the quality and speed. I hope it helps.

update After sending my watch + cable for servicing at my local service centre, I received a new cable. I had this issue once again, charging stop and charge. Happened 2 times on my charge when I got my watch back. start charging from 20% to 100%. 1 week later after draining, I charge my watch and it did happen 1 time on my charge, from 40% to 91%. I will continue to monitor this.

@lexterm77 I did that when I broke my elbow and had my left arm in a cast for 7 weeks… I still did not got used to it… It’s now >2 years that I own the S9B and I recall that I’ve asked for a lock button in watch mode pretty soon. It’s amazing what has been developed, improved and implemented in that time. Really interesting, useful and demanding stuff (to develop)… but no lock button …sorry, I unintendedly hijacked this thread!

As @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos says… Below a certain temperature OHR can become very unreliable but in warmer weather it works perfectly. Just use a strap in the winter for best results. @Erik-F If you encounter additional issues I would perform a hard reset/restore of the watch. If after that you have problems contact support.

@zucchero said in Open water swimming mode customization – swim distance always zero and no temperature: @isazi Issue solved. See above. User error. When I start an activity like my swim without a GPS signal and, if the watch gets a GPS signal a few minutes later, does it then track the distance? It should do so

@Bradleyd as for the walk: I think vO2 is a cumulative value, so if it didn’t change because no HR was recorded, it’s still shown at the end.

@freeheeler said in For s9p and s9b: @outtatime the reason could be various… assuming you just look at altitude in watch mode? or does this happen during an activity? It looks like it can be off on the activity mode as well. So it’s not just baro. Gps has its own ellipsoid that it follows and is a rough estimate of altitude.

@jmoneygrip I agree. I also found that the OHR is fairly accurate during activity. It is reasonably close ( at least during trail runs) to what I record on my chest HR monitor. I am satisfied from that standpoint. What annoys me are all the huge spikes in HR readings at rest and during the night. I do not probably meet the characteristics of the perfect target customer for the S9P; hence, I may care about wellness data from the watch ( and HR reading outside an activity or training) more than the average customer. However I still think this is an issue as these readings may affect sleeping scores and other metrics.
