Well, as my previous post says I tried all ways now and it’s no good, the run is just LOST cannot save the poor thing. Sadly this is now becoming very annoying as due COVID I’m doing a challenge with friends and this will now NOT appear on Strava.

@Massimo-Labozzetta Phones usually work better in term of GPS reception And usually it’s not recommended to use GPS on track, especially if you have a lot of turning, since distance is approximated. The more the track is made by curves, the more the resulting distance is an approximation.

@paata said in Interval with timed pauses: @surfboomerang Really smart solution. I tried it today for my workout 3 min uphill and free downhill and it worked great. But, in SA there is shown only one interval, so you cannot compare all intervals together. However, no such big problem for me. This is an SA bug that is known and will be fixed. Don’t know when though.

Thanks all. I am going to fiddle around with it some more later this afternoon. Most of it I have tried. Also cleaned the back of the watch, and will tighten the crud out of it when I hop on the erg today. If’s the first challenge I have had with the watch , and hoping I can get this to work.

@isazi thanks, it worked. I didn’t have idea I needed to add an Interval screen. Just assumed adding interval fields into one of the custom displays would be enough.

Hi @emr2020 You should contact suunto support via chat (check website page) they will probably suggest you an authorized repair shop.

@stevena Same issue with the Spartan Sport WHR. I asked about it on here a while ago and was told the following: “There’s a threshold, which is 3 meters for baro watches and 7 meters for watches without baro, and the total ascent / descent increment in chunks once the altitude change exceeds that threshold.” (copy-pasted from here: https://forum.suunto.com/topic/3886/dodgy-elevation-on-spartan-sport-whr/5) In other words, if you’re running a route that undulates by less than 7 metres at a time, your non-baro watch will treat it as flat. I find this super-annoying too. But apparently it’s considered OK in Suuntoland, because I was told I was being nitpicky for considering it bizarre. If it’s any comfort, I have a Stryd and it isn’t much better for elevation. Under-reports by almost a factor of ten on some routes, so perhaps there’s a similar arbitrary threshold at work there. Update, 26 April: Just for the record, I may have been mistaken about Stryd’s accuracy, or perhaps I was looking at the wrong .fit files? At any rate, lately I’m getting conspicuously plausible elevation data from Stryd.

@hubertus46 said in Power Intensity Zones with Stryd - Trainer Wrist HR: @sascha I own a Spartan Trainer WHR and I use it with Stryd. There is the latest firmware. and it works perfect! You can use and configure Power Zones as described above. If you run to fast or to slow the watch beeps and vibrates. Im running with stryd and the Sswhr for more than a half year… That’s great to read, thanks for the post!

@José-A-y-Mayte-Familia-López-Puértolas I have a Spartan Trainer WHR and would be impressed if Suunto could implement turns in the Swimming Sports mode. If you got no watch on your wrist you at least count the turns while swimming in a pool. But today I have no hope that any metrics will be improved… since last year no Spartan Updates except the “Date Patch for the Watchface” were released…

@Bento-Galado-0 As far as we know, Spartans we’ll be supported for what concerns bug fixes only. So, no new features. Maybe you better ask Suunto support
