There must be an iffy batch out there. Before the S9B I own now (have had it for just over a year) I had three in a row with battery issues. My training partner also had two with battery issues, however he ended up jumping across to Garmin whereas I stuck with Suunto I was lucky enough to get a straight exchange for a new one from Suunto each time and I would hope that you could too

@mff73 thanks for your answer. I don’t remember to enable this option, and I can’t find a way to find this one in the sportmode options. Do you know where is it located exactly so I can check ? But the screen turn off as soon as I hit the button “start” and not after waiting 10sec.

@nathalier71 Hi, movescount is not for the s9b anymore. You have to use suunto app in your mobile. Read here the transition to digital services. I’m closing this, there is plenty information about this in the forum.

@dmytro Haven’t tried. I’m only rowing as a recovery activity, hence rowing stats other that hrTSS are of less concern for me. Perhaps @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos knows the internals of third party sync? Whether what gets sent is the original file vs the updated version?

not just electronic compasses, should regularly check and calibrated mechanical compasses too. Always amazes me when I get on a boat that has had a recent refurb and ask if the compass has been calibrated and the owner says no, only to find out its way out due to all the addiitional refurb work that has been done. Even had one where they replaced the binacle and didn’t bother!!! And that is serious stuff. There have been times when satnav has been down and we have only had a compass to work with (hence my paranoia about it).

I suggest that “:00” is dropped on the watch face from those timezones, that don’t have 15/30/45 minute offset. So “UTC+02” instead of “UTC+02:00”. Most timezones have 0 minute offset. ISO 8601 standard allow also this representation without minute offset. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_8601#Time_offsets_from_UTC “:00” is just redundant information wasting space on the watch face. (I have S5 but same issue.)

@isazi Hello Isazi, I have another suggestion which came to my mind and may reduce the need of libraries … There is already a library in the watch … it is the route itself Why not to have an additional option : navigate to waypoint, the guy choose a route and the watch propose him first the BEGINNING of the route second the END of the route then … May be the other waypoints sorted as the guy set them … so no need for any additional development of new concept, but just how to propose route waypoints to be navigated to … => the notion of library is already here in the watch … just is missing a new navigation option to navigate to one of the route waypoints … at minima 2 poi placed are saved

Contacted support. They told me to send watch to their service center.I will turn off raise to wake option as it probably consume too much battery.
