@Alpha-156.42 Hi I was looking on different forums the solution for Wing 2. I use Suunto products for a long time. I tried to connect the Wing 2 to different phones. I tried to pair them just out of the box and fully charged. I tested pairing on below mobile phones with latest updates: Samsung S23 Ultra Asus Rog Phone 8 Pro There was no possibility to connect. So I tried on Samsung S22+ Samsung S23 Both with latest Samsung updates and it paired!!! So the solution to my S23 Ultra and Asus was to pair with any phone that was working and do the firmware update. So after it all problems disappeared. It is difficult where the problem is but probably with the Bluetooth operations. Find a friend where you can pair the Wing 2, install temporary suunto app and do the update. Hope it helps.

@MKPotts Thanks for that, I’ve also been going with the tighter hole & as yet my hand hasn’t fallen off. I’ve started doing wrist rotations with dumbbells to try & bulk up to the next hole LOL TBH I found the original Race strap really comfortable & could adjust it perfectly for my wrist (just a bit boring in plain black).

@Mff73 I reported some observations from different tests here: https://forum.suunto.com/topic/10353/strange-behaviour-with-garmin-hrm/13?_=1715781410812 My heart rate monitor is 3 years old but I have no reasons to think it works bad (it doesn’t with other devices). I believe that for me this high/low readings at the start of the activity happen mostly when I wear a synthetic windproof jacket, but also cheap synthetic t-shirts without the jacket (it’s getting warm now!) seem to cause this problem.

@luke55 I have found Velcro straps give me better OHR readings than the Silicone ones. You can order 22mm velcro straps from Amazon and pins to add for holding the band. You won’t be able to change bands quickly but I prefer the Velcro bands.

@stromdiddily did you check the belt instead of the sensor ? https://forum.suunto.com/post/124621 if the belt is not waking up the sensor properly, then, probably the sensor looks dead. just to be sure, do you have tested another new fresh battery ? i sometimes have new batteries somehow not powerful enough despite new according to the video, try to plug the sensor on the belt and put both belt electrode in contact to each of them (like short circuit), if it definitively not make the sensor seeable, it is probably dead or something we may not think about

@psychopengy for a short moment let’s play with an idea that your Orca-Pioneer was marked just like your handheld Silva: imagine that zero was right below N and 180 was right below S. Now imagine securing this kind of compass to the bow of your kayak so that the compass window and that notch in the housing faces back, towards you. If you were paddling straight towards north with a compass like this which number would be there under that yellowish or reddish line in the housing? It would be 180 but that’s wrong!!! You were heading north, but the stupid marine compass says you are going to the direction of 180 degrees! That is why the N E S W letters and their corrensponding numbers must be on the opposite sides. This is the logic: marine compasses are always secured in place on the vessel so that the colorful line in the window faces back (or aft). You can look at the marine compass straight from above and you’ll see the compass rose (direction of north, east, south and west), but the numbers under that colorful line ALWAYS indicate which way your bow is pointing! Just mount your Orca-Pioneer to the bow of your kayak (not right under your nose, but really to the bow) and start paddling. The number under that line keeps showing the direction you’re headed. When moving north it’ll show zero while the letter N on the compass rose is on the opposite side. I hope this explained the logic. Back in the days I used to have a scuba diving compass on my wrist and that worked just like marine compasses. There were actually two windows, one above and one on the side. From the top window I could see the compass rose and raising my wrist right in front of my face the side window indicated my heading. [image: 1698384205488-suunto-sk-7.png]

@Legin25 Here’s how I set the sensors up. I put a spacer under the one on the crank to move it closer the the main body - hopefully the pictures are clear enough.
