Would attempting to buff out a scratch affect the warranty?

@MRC01 The route elevation screen has been working properly for the past couple of rides, so this issued resolved itself. I don’t know what caused it to fail that first time.

Glad to find this topic. Had no clue what oxygen saturation is. After googling got worried why i am still alive. I get anywhere between 85% to 93% readings. Now i know the values the watch give are nonsense. I will turn this ”feature” off

@luke55 said in Race: Problem with media control: Hi, The widget correctly shows the track, but control does not work, no way to change track, no way to control volum. I think I am doing something wrong, but what ? Thanks for helping I removed the app, unpaired the watch. I reset both devices and then reinstalled the app and connected the watch and it worked again

@dreamer_ I submitted a request to gain access to their smartwatch API. But it also seems that there is a non-zero probability that Suunto simply offer me to work for them

I’ve switched from Epix to Suunto Race and I have the same request. I use Humango, and I’ve observed that the Race doesn’t vibrate when I’m going to slow or to fast from the exercise pace. Even if the display is bigger on the Race, the instructions fonts that appear during exercises, are smaller than those on Epix. Very hard to read when you running and the BPM is 175 ️

@Todd-Danielczyk said in Reset Ressources ?: @Rolli1960 I know I had to adjust my resting heart rate up a bit for my Vertical to get it to register sleep properly. When I did that, my resources went up to what I would call accurate. Thanks Todd, i will test it. Have a good time. Rolli

@Mff73 said in What features are lost without internet?: but be happy, while online, on iOS, you can create such POI and sync it to suunto watch during an activity --> not possible in Android “yet” I cannot deny it: we live in age of unevenly distributed miracles and wonders. Another example that I may just be late to noticing: It’s no longer necessary to modify (sacrifice) existing App POIs to create new ones offline.* A new location saved on the watch can be synced to the App, edited (BYO altitude, of course) and the changes synced back to watch. Admittedly, it initially shows up on the watch POI list without its edited name but, after selecting it, scrolling through its details and repeatedly swearing at the device in Old Ogham, the new name seems to settle in. *That’s still easier, natch. And I’d still like user choice of coordinate format. With such creation on the watch alone, even, as legend tells us was once possible.

@Łukasz-Szmigiel Synching with Suunto app will only synchronize the time if you have the watch set to do that. Otherwise it uses GPS time.

@zucchero think of these as customizations of a sport. You can do that yourself from the app, taking one default sport mode, e.g. running, and customize the screen to show the information you prefer. Once you do that, you can give it a name. As an example, I have a “Running (Training)” and a “Running (Race)” that show different fields. For some sports, Suunto already offers some customization. So you have “Cycling (Basic)” and “Cycling (Power)” that show different data screens, in case you do not want to make your own custom sports. Cycling basic can record power if you have a power meter, but does not have a field showing it to you during the activity, while Cycling power has it. Now, there are also some other changes that are not available to users like us, one example is “Climbing (Indoor)” that does not use GPS; while we can only customize screens in our custom sport modes, Suunto can do more, and that is why they provide some customized sport modes. Also, because some users do not know how to make custom profiles themselves

@josephblcd Snap to a route has a different meaning. You can refocus the map just by taping on it. If it doesn’t work due to a rainfall then you can hold the middle button to enter the menu where you can navigate the map with the buttons and then again (to exit the menu - it’s a workaround). You can also use the Custom battery mode to disable the touchscreen for a map. So it is possible to do what you mention in the last sentence.
