@Pier-Luigi-Cingolani completely agree! Does anyone know if the vibration setting is gonna be changed in the future FW updates? I found it pretty annoying when you scroll through widgets (and I want to leave the vibration on for notifications).

@Tieutieu it is working perfect with the SV but not with SR. Maybe it is dimmed but not enough or the difference is so small that you cannot see it. Either way I think as mentioned above Suunto needs to improve it. It is quite annoying if the watch is turned on during the night and there is no way to turn it off. The only option we have now is to wait the 20-30sec or cover the watch some how.

@gilcu2 notifications are supposed to time out after a few seconds. If you see them for longer time, this is not like it is designed. I have observed a similar behavior, just only during workouts so far, not in watch mode. This is in Suunto’s bug tracking system already.

@doncarlo in the app there are different maps available, even a wintermap, dedicated for planning with slope angles. I find it very useful and the map in the watch is great to have an intuitive possibility to navigate in the mountains. I was also suggesting to collaborate with swiss topo, but I like this solution that we have a lot, as it is unified and the same for every place in the world

@gtung3388 except for my first run, I’ve not noticed a difference in my HR, and definitely no jumping around. I do use a nylon strap so not sure if that has helped? But as others have said, if you want an accurate HR then you’ll have to use a strap. This morning’s run is below, quite consistent with the inclines/declines - the dips are when we’ve stopped. I’m not sure why this couldn’t be implemented though. Surely if Suunto can derive a VO2 Max from running then cycling can’t be too far out of the box

@surfboomerang yes, switching between belt and WHR is not happening automatically. I sometimes check my belt batteries with a BT tool on my phone. It is a matter of seconds and maybe once a month is enough.

If I understand correctly the ramp rate is the gain/loss of ctl over time (42 days?). I noticed that the watch sometimes shows a gain exactly the same as my CTL. Today my watch shows a CTL of 33 and a ramp rate of +33. Is this a bug or is my understaning of ramp rate wrong?

@jjorgemoura I don’t train on a stairmaster. But on the treadmill with incline (measured by a Raspberry pi and some sensors on the treadmill to have the total ascent at the end of the training). A NPE run sensor is connected to the Suunto watch via bluetooth to get the correct distance. And because running is running (for me) I track the activity as running and disable gps to have the possibility to add the measured ascent in the Suunto app. My solution…

@Greg-Frampton are you sure the map is downloaded, check in the app under the watch for offline maps. Are you in North Carolina? Do you have GPS active?

@Stefan-B Before buying a new belt, you could check: There are posts here that say one can reset the sensor by inserting the battery upside down (that is, reversed polarity). I’m not sure that is officially documented by Suunto but I would try that in your case. If your strap has a black area where the sensor connects, you could get the new redesigned strap that has a grey contact area.
