I’ve noticed sometimes the iOS version of the Suunto App can sometimes “pretend” to sync where it looks like it has sync’d and says it has sync’d but the sync didn’t actually happen. If you watch the sync it never does the suuntoplus sync or the gps update - two stages that tend to take a few seconds so are noticeable. I found the fastest fix for this is to force-quit the app (the swipe up to kill action) and restart the app. I think disabling and re-enabling bluetooth does the trick too. It could be that is is what you experienced and why the sync didn’t work.

@Michael-Schmidt I don’t think you are doing anything wrong. Suunto’s attitude to the notifications seems to be that they show the first couple of sentences - whether that’s an email, a txt, a social media message etc. Generally this gives you enough to know whether to go to the relevant app on your phone but they aren’t aiming to replace the need to use your phone in most cases.

@Michael-Schmidt Are your referring to this: https://forum.suunto.com/post/75478? (Vote anyway!) Or one of these: https://forum.suunto.com/search?in=titles&term=POI import? Or something else that these do not cover?

@Mff73 To me this seems so inconsistent since for example TSS on the watch takes the imported training session into account and shows training effort on the training day. Also CTL, ATL and Form take the session into account. But since this seems to be a known “feature”, I guess it’s easiest to change the watch face parameter so that it doesn’t bother me

@Carl-Magnus-Cedercreutz-0 said in Watch faces?: @far-blue I earlier had a Suunto 5 and upgraded to a Suunto Race. On My Suunto 5 I had updated a Sport to include Laps information: Lap time, lap distance, Stryd Power 3 sec and Stryp Power Average. In addition I’d like to be able to see things like “Estimated time to end of Navigation Route” and “Sunset” information on a “kayaking” or “Hiking” sport. I’ve not found any way of customizing Watch Faces or even to see an explanation of what information is available on which watch face (without guess work based on the look at Watchfaces in Suunto App Store. What guidance would the community have to me? be careful. this thread is about watch faces the watch is showing when not recording an activity. You are talking about screens during activity. You can specify all the data you want (which is data to be shown within an activity) in the sport mode customization. Just tap the watch icon in the top left of the home screen in Suunto App, and then choose “Sport Mode Customization”

Hi Recently got a race, with a former 9 baro. I was using sleep tracking without HR 24/7, I don’t like the green light all day. Now with race is not possible I have read. Could it be possible auto enable HR for sleep tracking only between sleeping hours? It would be an interesting solution for this issue. Regards

@Yamac-Tan Race and Race S have no custom battery modes. So it could be screen related and/or scroll wheel related, which the two have.

For clarity, Autolap simply marks a new lap at a preset distance or time and doesn’t have anything to do with location. The only features I know of that creates laps based on location are suuntoplus apps, as @The_77 suggested. The last-used app is remembered for an activity between workouts.
