    @isazi For information I did a hard reset of the watch. I log 3 activities until then and it seems to be back to normal, without any elevation overestimating. Hope it will stay like this until Vertical 2 comes out.

    Hey all stryd users. Can you tell me the correct procedure to use stryd with Vertical after recent update ? It’s a bit weird how it is actually on my settings. When using run mode, stryd is paired as sensor but watch doesn’t detect my heartrate smart sensor. When using trail, it detects HR but not stryd as a sensor. But I can use stryd s+ app and it records all stryd data in addition to suunto wrist power…

    @Squirrel Not sure about the track record - I had a warranty repair 2 months ago (in Prague/CZ) - they fixed my SV Ti Solar within 2 days. Now I am claiming another issue and as of last week there were 50+ watches in the queue…

    After the last repair that took a month, they sent me the watch, supposedly repaired, 5 days later the same behavior, I sent it back to the repair center, and again the same stories, it’s been almost 3 weeks, apologizing that they are in high demand for repairs… it’s a shame, I’m tired of waiting !!!     @maszop That is quite possible. But that also means that Suunto hasn’t designed their synchronization protocol well. These problems are easily solvable - I can tell you that as someone who long time ago has worked on synchronization of bookmarks in Chrome browser between multiple devices and made that work reliably. Also, to make to make it clear, only the app on my phone ever synchronizes data with watches, and only with one watch at a time. The other two apps are not connected. So this is not a concurrency issue.

    I’ve just ride a few thousand KM around mainly Norway. Software updated half way through my trip. No issues at all with time and distance befire or after update. Also not sure why it ever how you would put wheel circumference into the Vertical. Are you talking about a cadence/speed sensor?

    I think its a matter of all the personal data entered in the watch. For example, I’ve done recently an hiking activity: 32[km], almost 8[h] duration, 2000[m] ascent, avg. heart rate 93[bpm] by HR belt, 2960[kcal]. 2960[kcal] are maybe too much? Maybe, but I was really (not) feeling them in my body!

    Well, not normally monitored after a few days of observation, I still lack 2-4 hours at the end of the night for whatever reason. I hope the future update will fix most of the bugs because I just bought the watch 2 weeks ago and this is not giving me a good image…

    @MeazzaS9 Hey mate nah it’s been like this for a while. Haven’t tried hard reset. Going to try drain to 0% and charge to 100% first like a few here reccomended.

    @gone-troppo this happened to me, linked below. I sent my watch in under warranty and they replaced it with a new unit, which works fine now. Sadly, the one that broke was made in Finland and the replacement was made in China. All companies update their apps at some point, none of them is asking the users. How many versions of one app a company should keep alive to please every user?

    @Deaknquinn1979 @Max-maxilifeguard @Egika I am not a current Vertical owner, but it is a watch I seriously interested in purchasing. I have a current Garmin Instinct and much to Deak’s point, I don’t need all the surf data, but tidal data is a great help as a surfer and a paddleboarder. Additionally, any surf data now for beaches is a paid service. As I seek to purchase a Vertical here within the next 30 days, I feel it would be a great software update for the watch as a screen users can scroll to get data. It does not need to be a constant on the face of the watch, but like all sport/information options, one at the fingertips.
