I don’t believe anyone could have the same strange question, but who knows…
As a proud owner of a use Vertical Titanium I see now that its not only the Bezel thats made of metal - like the Race S - but most of the case. So it makes no sense to change the bezel even if it would be possible
@Brad_Olwin thanks a million - it does the trick! I use the OPTICAL Coros Heart Rate monitor. I tried working it out earlier withe the zones, and that explains why it did not work.
But I set several scenarios as intervalls in the app - for instance a mode with only one Intervall, very long duration, my max heart rate that can run in the background for every general easy training. I tried it out twice and it works perfectly fine :)) slightly laborious of course, but certainly something one can get used to. I’m so glad you proposed this workaround! Saved my trainings.
Also I set scenarios for the actual interval training I’ll start soon - very convenient.
I’m also having this problem. Basically, nothing from Suunto plus is syncing. Guides, watch faces, apps, etc., are not syncing for me. It’s super annoying when you’re about to sync some workouts before heading out and basic functionality is missing.
About a week ago I had this issue! When pausing the activity and then attempting to end it, it would lap instead. It seems the actual workout had been bugging out as the GPS points were very far apart.
@Brainicus ok I will test but am not convinced distance is from Stryd. I always get more distance with Suunto than any Garmin users. With Stryd previously witn auto calibration off distance was the same.
I ran a 5km with three friends recently (post bluetooth change) and got 100m more using Stryd and Suunto. The next day we ran and I accidentally had gps off on my watch so 100% Stryd and our distances were identical. But I will test like you suggest with both on a straight route.
I do not know why Suunto gives more distance than Garmin.
This seems to be a long documented request. With the new dive computers having map features and widgets it seems apparent that a map feature would include depth charts. I dont really need topo land maps for my dive computer. Im not requesting underwater navigation usage but knowing basic cartographic info of a dive site would be very valuable.
For those interested in seeing that the solar collector on your Vertical Solar is working when you are out and about, I’ve created a list of watch faces that can display Solar icons.
I’ve looked through most of the watch faces from the Suunto Plus Store. What I’ve found is that the watch faces on the following list have the capability of displaying a Solar complication on the face. These complications are always those that are of the larger round variety of complication and not the smaller rectangular style.
Of these, only the Vertical can show a graph of the sunlight harvested.

@fejker yes, just one sad thing is. When importing exercise to Suunto App it won’t show him burned calories in daily burned calories section. I have been debating about this with suunto support in chat for a while and nothing can be done. I have recently switched to Garmin which was adding kcal but not adding training into my tiredness. Best solution for the moment to me is to connect trainer to watch and zwift in parallel. Training from zwift remain in zwift and from Garmin goes to Strava for example. Also in thus case I’m not tight to zwift only. Using wahoo app too from time to time.
