I am experiencing the same issues. All my problems started with update 2.39.20. I bought the device in June, and everything was perfect until the update. The issues began with the heart rate monitor not working (it usually stops during the night). Now, I have additional problems with sleep tracking. I slept really well for 7 hours, but on the watch, it was marked as a 2-hour nap and 3 hours of sleep. I’m sending logs to suunto, hope this will help.

I owned a Vector too and used to look often at the ascent speed while hiking, since that gives you an idea on how fast you are going and allow to estimate the remaining altitude difference to your destination. Since the Vertical/Race watch family can show altitude and barometric pressure, they could easily display also the vertical speed as a complication, it’s odd that isn’t present as a choice. I agree with you about the ridiculous small font of the time field shown on the top of the activity fields, it’s actually useless, especially while in outdoor activities.

@inkognito Thank you That was it! But I don’t normally use the control panel and the backlight is not in the settings, so I didn’t come up with the idea to check it in the control panel. BR

@vinc14 Hi Vinc, ich mache es bei mir so, dass ich in der Suunto App unter Training die Aktivität auswähle. Dort einmal auf die Karte klicken und schön öffnet sich eine Ansicht auf dem ein Trend dargestellt wird. Wenn du diesen Trend bewegst, siehst du die vergangene Zeit, Strecke und wenn es ausgewählt ist, auch die Höhe. So sieht man wie lange ein Aufstieg ging und wieviel Meter gegangenen wurden.
