@vinc14 There is an Indoor Climbing S+ app and you can use unspecified indoor sport and arrange the fields with what you want.

@Brad_Olwin said in ZoneSense S+ Drain vs Solar Charging: @stromdiddily I have used ZS with a Route on field test firmware and had excellent battery on the Vertical. No issues that I could see. I hope that this is solved but as I said, I will test again. I used the maps occasionally but had the vertical on the ZS screen most of the time. Look forward to your results. Hopefully this is part of the greater “battery issue” or whatever

Hi @mikeorbreak did you resolve this issue? My Suunto Vertical doing exactly as yours is. Added about 600m to a run which should have and about 2400m elevation. Constantly adding meters to even short activities. Have followed all the advise trouble-shooters to no avail. Only wear the watch on wrist with no clothes covering it.

@C5032005 I will mirror what @iterumtenta said and I have seen similar when the Suunto HR belt is connected to my phone. It is almost like a scavenged resource where the phone and Vertical compete for the signal. If I “forget device” of the belt from my phone I get very clean results to my watch.

@RLLongIII said in mediocre reviews and watch faces: REI sells both watches. Reviews for both show the Garmin watches with ratings of 4.5+ but the SV only shows 3.3. Given all the raving about the SV on other forums, can anyone explain the low reviews? IMO those are two different “universes”. You maybe won’t be too happy with Suunto, if watchface customisation or mainly smartphone features are of main importance for you. Suunto offers a “purer” experience, which makes you decide your way of training, supporting you with helpful metric like TSB etc. Garmin has more features but the whole ecosystem (starting with the pure numbers of different models ) is much more confusing and I didn’t find it too helpful.

Hello everyone! I had such a problem for the first time in June, after I bought in the mountains in the river. At first, he gave it to a third-party company for repair (since Suunto left Russia for political reasons). I fixed them, they worked until last week. I bought in the sea and again the same story as everyone above, a soft reset and they stop working. I removed the back cover and found that if you turn off the loop button, the watch works great, it is worth connecting it slowly, so it becomes clear that the middle button works (as if you press it for a long time). That’s why no one can turn on the watch right away. In the case of fresh water, it seems to dry up and work, with salt water it is more difficult. I’m thinking of getting to the buttons at all and cleaning them, seeing what the mechanism is. But I can’t pull the board out through the back cover. It feels like it’s out through the top. I’m afraid to make efforts, it’s still electronics. Maybe someone knows how to disassemble the watch and take out the board?

@Monty-77 Hi, there is no possibility in Suunto. I believe that it is not necessary to set up 6 zones. If you know what the goal of the zone is than you should be able to function without it. I think that the workaround could be to create a structured workout and set up exactly the ranges you need to hold for the time/distance as prescribed (your missing zone basically)

@JonasLarsson some users were complaining that Suunto watches were counting small random wrist movements as steps too often. The algorithm was tweaked and there’s been a significant drop in the step count since. S9 didn’t get this update. I guess there’s still some tweaking to be done.

@Egika When the watch is lying totally still, it will switch off the screen regardless of any setting. Correct. So, I would kindly request to have an option to have always-on display even when watch is not moving at all.
