@jamie-bg I would be glad if it would be this easy. Already tried different wall sockets, even in different apartments and houses. No difference. I tried 5 different charger USB plug ins, even bought two new ones with 5V and 2 with 0,5A (like the suunto support told me to try) and still no difference. And my two different power bank won’t work at all. I really don’t know what to do and I’m starting to think I’m crazy. I love this watch, it works perfect for me but it makes me insane that I only able to charge it via laptop

@marsfarce the random reboots are reported, I think I’ve read it here… So the next update would include a fix for that. But I’m not part of Suunto so I can say with 100% of certain when or if it will fix it.

@trinitao its the language, try changing and you will see results.i shifted mine from UK English to US English and haven’t had issues like that. I think it is something to do with how a phrase is worded. GA on wear os is a very basic version on the phone, and often has to be very specifically worded to get a response i.e. for opening apps somtimes Open X will work, other apps may require start X ,and others may require lauch X, some with work with all 3 some with a combination and some only with specific. GA is a bit of a mess on wear os.

@aleksander-h Tested again tonight, you’re right - if I ignore the auto lap when it buzzes, and then look at screen a couple of minutes later, the notification doesn’t pop up. Still wish that “let me show you what you missed” timer was a LOT shorter than it is though! If I look at the screen 10 seconds after a vibration whilst running, chances are I already don’t care about what I was being alerted to, otherwise I would have looked sooner.

@jamie-bg it doesn’t show the map on the watch! I will get in contact with the Dev as you suggested. I just like the idea to predefine some routes and can it display on the watch. For tracking I’m more than happy with the offline maps and that’s the main aspect why I’m having the Suunto 7

@sascha-domres it’s possible, check if it happens again and if that is the reason. And if you believe there is something wrong with your watch, contact support also.

@mff73 I do not investigate the raw data and I am not interested in the scenario behind the app. I want to see the correct altitude on the display of the Suunto 7 as I can see it on the SSU, on the S7 with Ghostracer or on the Casio G-Shock. And this would be no problem with the option to calibrate the altitude manually. That’s all.

@kai-liu You can sync a fit file that you have fixed from Quantified Self back to SA or using RunGap for iOS or SyncMyTracks on Android (don’t have this phone so not sure and others can correct me).

@egika said in Suunto 7 Buzzer: @Andrea-Antonio-Guadalupi it is well used. You can enable sound in the Suunto Wear App so it beeps when starting or ending an activity as well as when pausing or at auto laps. And for alarms, timers, Tabata routines from 3rd party apps to add a few more

@jamie-bg I disagree, the docs say that AGPS is updated weekly if relying on Bluetooth connection to Phone. That would be fine for me, and I’d leave WiFi off continuously, I believe there’s a bug in WearOS that is stopping this weekly AGPS update from happening successfully. I know exactly when I’m connected or not and more than happy with being disconnected when I go out. LTE connected watch definitely would NOT work for me (not with todays battery and optimisation tech anyway!). My requirements for AMOLED/AppleWatch levels of visibility & brightness and at least 50mm size plus some form of map that is better than just a breadcrumb trail, along with an ability to track a 6hr or so activity, along with being a vaguely smart watch with notifications and on watch payments compatible with my bank (ie - not Garmin Pay!) are my main criteria - and to work fully with an Android phone. The S7 is the clear winner and almost a watch on its own segment in that regard…more than happy with it, but doesn’t stop me wanting a few improvements and efficiencies brought to the table. I guess the answer in the meantime is to leave WiFi on automatic, see AGPS data effectively maintained, and remember to hit airplane when I head out with phone left behind.

@flypg - seems a bit weird, but then S7 is all about choice. Part of the reason for buying S7 is take advantage of the fitness suite and having the always on data tracking screen (while still getting up to 18hrs of tracking life), especially as you have the active HR zones which I find very useful to help me keep the right level of effort in my activity tracking.

@guy85 if installed to phone, check on watch’s play store - under Apps on My phone section. If there then yes. If not then no. not sure why you would want to, with suunto’s built in offline maps and or google maps. Both of these are designed to be battery friendly. Using a 3rd party map app you get less than half the battery life compared to suunto app/google map options.

@martin-vrska unfortunately not yet (you can of course see it in the phone’s suunto app). Bit like you, in an area where there aren’t a lot of suunto users. So I have found that the best thing is to check the heatmap options and have generally found that running and or cycling tend to be the most popular; and or change your zoom - instead of using nearby/neighborhood use Metropolatin/City.

@trinitao Test this on a walk near your home first and make sure it is working properly.
