Body Resources glitch?
-
Firstly, I am not sure if this is solely on the Suunto 7, or is more more related to the Suunto App, so please move this topic is required.
I had a fairly major glitch with the body resources this morning.
Yesterday, I ran a 16km trail run (my longest trail run ever) and my recourses were low afterwards (as expected. I then went out for dinner in the evening, had a few beers, watched the Lions rugby when home, with a few more beers and rum.
Eventually went to bed at 2am and got up at 10am (Sundays are meant for lay ins!). Despite getting 8 hours sleep, the alcohol and broken routine meant my sleep was poor (as expected) and I woke up with only 19% body resources, having gained 18% overnight.
All as expected so far.
However, at some point this morning there was a connection issue between the watch and my phone and the Solstice watch face would not display properly. Notifications were coming through as normal, but the watch face was acting like it had no location data.
This was not an issue, as it has happened before and is easily resolved by restarting the watch, which is what I did this morning.After restarting the watch I noticed something very odd with my body resources… they had jumped to 64%…
I only did a restart, not a reset, so there is no reason why it should lose any data.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this?Some screenshots below to show what has happened…

@olymay when the watch restarts resources are set to 50%

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos so restarting the watch essentially renders the resources feature useless?
I can understand it doing this if the watch is reset, but a simple restart?? That’s such a shame
-
@olymay it will adopt to you resources within the next few hour(s)

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos cool, cheers.
I’ll keep an eye on it as the day progresses. It hasn’t adapted as yet (roughly three hours later).
It might get a bit confused soon though, as I’m about to watch more rugby (Eng vs USA) which will involve a couple of beers. After that I will be watching the F1. So I will be going from very excitable to probably snoozing on the sofa!
