SUUNTO APP AND COMPLEX TRAINING = USELESS!?!?
Just bought a Suunto 7 after a friend showed me how powerful an Ambit with some customized training programs can be.
Once it got is all up and running the disappointment started to set in as I realized that I did not buy a versatile and propper sports watch rather an alternative to a lifestyle watch from Apple or Samsung!!!
I bought the watch so I could use it for proper training for the sports and activities I do however the lack of any useful customization to the training programs stops me and basically puts the level of sports functionality of this watch on par with a mid-range Fitbit!!!
Why Can Suunto not add or enable the same or similar functionality to what Movescount offered???
If someone has figured out a way to make this watch more than just a lifestyle accessory and turn it into a proper sports watch please let me know.
@sven-J hahaha. You haven’t been here that long
If you can not help or can say something nice you may not want to say anything at all!!!
Also do not misunderstand a signup date and experience/ knowledge.
Sorry, don’t have time for timewasters and wannabe trolls.
@sven-J First of all I do not own a S7 but in my opinion you should have read the specs of the watch before purchasing it and you will have read that natively it doesn’t support complex training (I guess you mean structured workouts), but probably some app does (advantages of using wearOS).
Besides, you are complaining in general of the watch not of any particular feature so I think it is going to be difficult for S7 users to help you.
Could you elaborate your questions or demands? Some of them might been already answered in this forum.
I’m closing this one as there are no “complex” training in S7 Suunto App nor in Suunto App (phone app) and the topic has been discussed several times (please, use search function for complex or structured interval)
By the way in the S7 main page the main title say “SUUNTO 7 The Smartwatch for Sporty Life” so yes, it’s mainly a smartwatch
