    @regger said in So, what are you going to do after Movescount closes?: Is there any possibility to transfer the tags of the moves to another plattform? I will miss them…I used movescount for searching of activity data of past activities still quite often in the last months. It’s more of a general question and by “another platform” you don’t mean Suunto App? If that platform can import tags or you just want to append those to the description field and you can go though data wrangling step yourself and all you are missing are Movescount tags (and perhaps descriptions and all other meta-data) in some machine-readable format (like json) or you just want to create a spreadsheet with descriptions and tags and dates and everything for searching for your past activities, then sure, it’s all in the MoveList - https://www.movescount.com/Move/MoveList

    @markytarky Well at least you can use 1 Suunto plus feature and 1 navigation feature at the same time.

    @TELE-HO you’re right but how long can I wait. It didn’t make any sense for me since I’ve been waiting for 3 months and the only thing I get from Suunto support is the same question about my software version.

    @Ennoch as I said, I won’t argue with the reasons of Movescount, POI, structured intervals or whatever the frustration of we could ever have with a watch. Movescount is until 2021. There is not POI as you want in Spartan or S line at this moment. We are here to help, even in all those situations where we get our ass kicked or some tones that I really think are unfair. We don’t decide. We elevate feedback and some achievements, really importants, came from this forum. So, I think this post is not going anywhere until 2021 so I’m closing it. If you want POI there is a post about it. I already vote and asked for it.

    @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos said in Nov transition update: @André-Faria iOS paring and sync issues, some notifications on android and of course power. That is what I personally know. There should be another update in 2021 Great, thanks for your input. Saw today a survey in movescount about our usages . Nice

    @Saketo-Nemo and all you Ambit2 lovers I am still using my Ambit2 and can pull data and push data to it using the PC based Suuntolink program as well as the smartphone based Suuntolink app. There is no need for a new watch and I would be happy to share how one can get data to and from the Ambit2.

    Finally, after one week one synchronization to get all my moves from movescount to be inserted into Suunto link, I can now fully rely on Suunto link app.

    Sure. Here’s an example of what it looks like, when I have a run-counter app, to push data to the site (either MovesCount, or Sports-Tracker). https://www.sports-tracker.com/workout/petegrey/5c6dd27f0f3e495dc8a0bd41 If I do this w/o the counter, it’s just a bunch of random data on the mountain, it includes the chairlift rides and everything, as one “big run”. I guess you could manually use laps, to separate things, but remembering to do this (we are in 2019, right?) is inconsistent, and can be unpleasant, say if it’s 5-degrees-F, on a day (usually involves taking off a glove, shoving my coat and other layers out of the way, to push a lap button). I have a couple of custom-screens in my Alpine Skiing, which is really handy for at-a-glance stats, for things like number of runs, descent-per, etc (which Suunto obviously excludes in the Alpine skiing screens, because it has no “run” concept on the Ambit3 skiing mode). I use a similar set of screens, and an app, for group sprint sections on when riding (road cycling), so I can see how I’m doing, at-a-glance, on a particular day. Removing all of this pretty much means my watches are non-functional, for my use, and they either become auction items, or landfill items (which it seems like the Ambit2 Sapphire is, regardless). Edit: I should mention, too, that it took me over an hour, with SA, to get my Ambit3 to sync a handful of moves (about 10/20), at which point it failed outright, and said it was unable to sync further (despite multiple retries). This is on a VERY fast phone, with an 845 chipset, Bluetooth 5.0, screaming-fast data pipe, etc, that can sync my cheap-o Garmin tracker I wear to track daily stuff (Suunto resting HR is way too inaccurate to even consider for this), in maybe 20-30 seconds (syncing a couple of days of complete HR/activity/sleep data, in that example). Edit2: I tried SA, again, and it restarted at activity/move 1/26, and was still there after 8 minutes, when I decided to shut it down. Something is gravely wrong with Bluetooth (sync) on the Ambit3, and it’s questionable as to whether or not this would be an app-side fix, IMO/IME. But apparently that’s about to become the “sync standard”, right, whenever the data-port happens, you’ll have to use SA, going forward?

    @henriferr said in Movescount transfer to Suunto APP: Good day, I have an old Suunto Quest watch and I am looking for support in order to link it to my pc via the Suunto ANT stick. Is there at all any alternative software to communicate with my Suunto Quest? Will openAmbit work with the Suunto Quest perhaps? I guess your best bet is a 3rd party software : Ages ago i compilated some here https://forum.suunto.com/topic/3438/suunto-cable-operated-software-alternatives It’s a matter of testing. Although it’s a different watch, these tips may help also https://forum.suunto.com/topic/7557/suunto-m5-and-moveslink-software/3

    @IanRoberts863 I understand. As are telling you below Runalyze is free and not only for running. If you want reports in the web try Quantified-self free as well. In suunto app you have very good reports in calendar and you can sort by sport, day, week, mont, year… The switch from Movescount to suunto app is very argued here, you are not alone, and some others had said basically the same as you are saying. If you think that you are going to be better with another brand maybe is a good option give it a try. But try suunto app, for routing I find it very useful. I have installed in my iPad and iPhone and I prefer to create routes in Suunto app than other place. I miss POI but is something where suunto is working we had here a sneak peak of it. We can’t help you if you don’t tell us what do you miss or need, for that the key is a good feedback. I don’t only run, and here I think we have a lot of kind of sportsman.

    @Dubosson-Aurélien As @Raimo-Järvi and @mabe2k noticed, you should remove the “-” character and replace 184-70 by 114 directly. To make code maintenance more easy, you could declare a variable to set your resting HR and use it in your condition: REST_HR=70; if(SUUNTO_HR_AVG[5]<(70/100*(184-REST_HR)+70) || SUUNTO_HR_AVG[5]>(75/100*(184-REST_HR)+70)) { Suunto.alarmBeep(); } RESULT=SUUNTO_HR_AVG[5];

    @theguyfromthesummit Garmin is in another level when it comes about accessories and connectivity, specially in triathlon or bike. None can compete with Garmin now. Ant+ and all sensors you want. Lights, gears of shimano… the list is impressive.
