If Suuntolink cannot connect to the watch, wait until the watch battery is empty, that is, the screen goes blank. Then connect it to a charger or the computer/Suuntolink. For me this worked with my Spartan Ultra, it started normal again.
If I remember well, all the sport modes related to mountain (not only “mountain mode”) should have the barometer automatically set to “altimeter” and FusedAlti ready to kick in, to give priority to altitude changes measurement
@michal-orlík this is probably not fully on topic, but I was wondering if you could please explain how to have the watch auto count your laps. Specifically, today i did some pool swimming i did perhaps 10-15 laps and the counter stayed on 1 all time.
Thank you in advance and sorry for the trivial questions, i have used Garmin for a very long time and the S9p is my first Suunto
The altitude will automatically calibrate when starting an exercise. I never manually adjust my altitude. When traveling to and from work my altitude changes and sometimes it is not correct. This is typically due to changes in air pressure and will correct next time FusedAlti is activated. To activate FusedAlti manually, simply go to shortcuts from the altitude screen and select auto adjust altitude. Leave the watch outside and stationary until adjustment is complete, I usually take it off of my wrist. Hope this helps. PS. I summited a 4334m peak on Monday and have not adjusted my altitude in a long time. My watch read 4344m at the summit. I can live with that!
I’m one of the lucky ones, fairly consistent readings throughout the life of the watch. Consistently about 3-5 beats higher than a chest strap but in that range enough that I can count on that and make adjustments if needed.
@Cuba1hr Hi, I also switched from V800 to S9baro since November. V800 is unbelievable, without training I charge my watch every 30 days! S9baro have pulse measurement off, standby on, 2-3 times weekly exercises each lasting 1 hour 20min. I charge the watch after 10 to 12 days. I also wonder if we can check the history of our watch by serial number.
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos But 32kcals? Strava doesn’t do that with their mobile app tracker. I dont have experience with Garmin/Polar. But I never had that with my Ambit3 Vertical before my new S9B
