S9B don't work without cable
-
Today I received my device from the Service Center. They had changed the optical sensor. Unfortunally now it doesn’t turn on without the cable. Any suggestions? Thanks
-
@agnes-papp not entirely clear on what the issue is. Could you explain your issue better? What do you mean by “turn on"?
-
@Brad_Olwin if it is connected to a PC or a Power bank, it turns on and works, but when I unplug it from the cable, it turns off. iDon’t gives amy signs of life.
-
@Brad_Olwin connected to the PC it seems full of charge, but there is no way to turn it on without the cable.

@agnes-papp
what happens when you press the upper button for 12 seconds?
EDIT: with and without cable -
@freeheeler anyting… Onlus of it’s connected with a cable I can made a soft reset.

@agnes-papp
did you try to connect to suuntolink on the laptop/computer? does it do anything then? -
@freeheeler yes I do. Did also hard reset, but when I disconnect, It turns off

@agnes-papp
not good. sounds as your watch wants to travel back to the service center
I would get in touch with them again.
The only thing I remember that I saw in this forum was to reflash firmware… I never did that on my watch, you can search for it as a last resort… unless @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos has another idea -
@freeheeler thanks, I agree with you about a “new trip” for the Service Center … I contacted them by phone, today send my watch back. Unfortunally it will not return to Finland but to an another place in Slovenija.

@agnes-papp
I’m holding thumbs that they can solve it.
My wife once had a new out of the box faulty A3R. It was fully charged and after few minutes of use it showed 3% of battery… she could start an activity and it would last for how long the battery normally would last but always showed 3%. When it came back from service it was solved. Never had an issue with Suunto since.
