@g287-sf Not a nice one Good F#$%ing Luck. I do not know if Suunto is working on a Track Run mode but I certainly see the use of it and think it would make a good request. @TyreseJ4, why don’t you ask as a feature request, do a search first to make sure it has not been asked.

@bulkan Indeed, it would be interesting if it was integrated into suunto 9 (y others)!

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos 100% agreed. Disabled autolap too which is maybe worth mentioning.

@stefan-kersting so while the activity is going on the watch adds data to the “activity file”, such as elevation, coordinates, HR, etc. At the end it computes some statistics and adds them to a header. What I understand is that in case the watch experience a crash, you end up with empty or incomplete header. Now SA and other applications can compute some stuff on their own, but for some things they rely on the header. This is why you have some data but not all of them.

Thanks for all the information. It seems a Strava problem, maybe because it was aimed towards running/cycling? @Brad_Olwin I was trying the other modes as to understand how would the S9B perform if I was to spend like two or three consecutive days in the mountains hiking without charging. For one day activity, performance mode is brilliant.

@gerbow11 I’m closing this one too. Please, stop opening threads for the same topic for which you’ve already got a reply (even in chat)

@gerbow11 I’ve replied to the other one Closing this as it’s a duplicate. If you search for structured (or complex) workout you’ll find several threads and you’ll discover that it won’t be enabled in SA itself maybe from 3rd parties, but no one know atm.

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos said in Suunto 9 invert watchface: @paradize I really wish I had the white ones believe me. I love that! For some perhaps proof of concept you might wanna check some old android watch face I did . https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dimitrioskanellopoulos.athletica.pro&hl=en It would even change white to black depending on the time (sunrise/sunset) Clicked the link, got error message: “We’re sorry, the requested URL was not found on this server.”

@frederic Well, in fact your activity wasn’t active, you’ve already “finished” it and saving. Just slightly different, but different. Unfortunately there’s no way to recover those data. That said, you can find a lot of similar threads here too. I’m closing this one to avoid duplicates eg. https://forum.suunto.com/search?term=save loop&in=titlesposts https://forum.suunto.com/topic/4074/saving-exercise?_=1593587919268

@egika From an individual training point-of-view, 400 vs 410m is no issue. However, if you train in group, it’s rather nice that your watch registers the track length correctly. It’s not your watch who’ll determine how much you’ll need to run, but the track itself… But then the suunto does measure the intervals correctly. I understand the frustrations of the people who train on track. I sometimes have them myself as well, but luckily I also have some nice trails in the neighbourhood.

@surfboomerang I support that fromthe logical point of view, even I will not use it very often. I think it’s good when you can save the correct location and do the administrative work later

@surfboomerang I enable the same setting for all other sport modes than the ones I use for navigation precisely because of this. Would be a very slick feature to enable the option.
