      Thought I would share here after my exploits last weekend as I haven’t seen it talked about.

      For those worried about battery life in performance mode, I HIGHLY recommend using the display timeout functionality under custom battery mode.

      23 hour effort and I think I finished with about 35-40% battery left which puts it well over the quoted performance spec (performance + timeout + hr belt)

      Always carry a flaggon of whiskey for snakebite; and furthermore, always carry a small snake.

      User of pretty much every watch since the Ambit 3 Peak. Now back in the family w SV2 :)

        @stromdiddily and also combine this with GPS+QZSS setting.

        Also the type of sport can help. I noticed the running profile is much more optimized compared to other sport modes in performance mode.

          @surfboomerang yes good point about GPS. I only use the GPS only setting to get the most out of it.

            I also think that at such a long duration the need to look at the screen is smaller.
