@Sezer-Yiğit said in Suunto spartan locked while recording my run:
And now it is evening and it is still turning and I still waiting for record my training.
What can I do for stop it? Am I have to wait till the battery charge finish? And what is the problem?
You can restart the watch, I think you should push simultaneously the central and top button for around 10 - 20 seconds.
It never happened to me, maybe just a random bug
@Pierre-L Uploading a track is not possible. One can record with a device or with the phone app, otherwise you have to add manually. I tried a few sport modes for manual and none of them have altitude. Sporttracker has the same options, unfortunately.
Share here your issues or the bugs you have found. Please remember to search just in case your issue is already reported.
@Matouille I do not think there is any way to do this on the watch. You would have to have a route separately for each POI from point to point and then you would get the elevation between but not the cumulative for the entire distance. This is a forum for Suunto app and you are I assume asking questions regarding MC app, correct? You may or may not find an answer here.
Anything related to issues with Partner Sync (Strava, Training Peaks, Endomondo, Runanalyze)
@ChubbyCrusher ok got it, no worries. LEts try to solve this. Can you check your profile? There the workout list has more info such as if it’s not synced to the backend , which is what I suspect, it will be shown.
@silentvoyager all data are recorded in speed units. I am not talking about first averaging the speed and then converting.
The rounding is about the display value. Makes sense? On the chart 30 difference on the avg that is what I was talking about.
I also have the concern to transfer big move.
I installed version 3.6.x, at first it worked, but no longer I have a move of 12h and she does not want to transfer to the app suunto.
I am French, sorry for my English.
My app is also syncing in the background, that is no problem. It was syncing while completely off and that behaviour was new. But seems like its gone already, now App & Watch only sync when app is running, front or background doesn’t matter.
@Brad_Olwin said in Strange behavior or lack of knowledge?:
@jthomi my app is syncing in the background. Occasionally, it does not and I need to force quit the app. When the app fails to automatically sync, if I check the watch connection it usually cannot connect to the watch. This is rare and either an app force quit or iPhone reboot solves the problem. I do not think this is an app problem but a BT communication issue. When this occurs, my notifications are often missing too.
@Armin-S Thx a lot.
I agree with you about displaying heart rate or whatever.
Therefore, I think users have to be able to customise this section with their own values.
For me, it would be recovery time.
@fweens Pool swimming does not support intervals.
That is the only mode that does not as it tries to cleverly define pool lines of course after they are done (pushing on the wall for example “turn”) .
Try another mode.
@margusl Usually on the IBI you apply the instant conversion to HR, you crop big and low values and then you do 1-2 rolling average filters. To normalize the HR graph.
However , IBI/RR should not derive from HR. They hold more information that the HR (which is kinda stupid imo but well).
But I can see perhaps why one would put that chart there, that should be due to showing that the value exists , even if it’s not an RR/IBI plot eg like Runanaluyze does .
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos here is the link: https://app.suunto.com/move/philip220621/5d33f88517683a59249d4862
Is that what you wanted? The same information shows up on the watch - so it is not a graphing error.
@Captbrad said in apple watch to suunto app?:
Thanks ALL, this was very helpful. I did some test runs with Apple Watch Today and the runs did show up in suunto app.
Same for me - and if I opened SportsTracker on iOS I also have the daily heart rate values
@nicolasp then we should disable steps/inactive/active calories counting not in sport as well as suunto measures way too much of them there are no device in the market which is 100% correct, once we will have AI in our wearables then we might have 99% correct data for daily activity, until we need to accept some discrepencies.
@geoffspakes said in Sport Modes Settings...:
Those screenshots are from Movescount, I’m talking about via the Suunto app, I know how to do it from MC but I’ve disconnected from that with the latest update. I’ll check on the watch as has been suggested.
Don’t worry, friend. We are just trying to give a general idea of which settings are right now in our watches and which of them are not. This could give an scenario for developers.
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos And I am happy to see Suunto app use the same maps as Movescount. Here’s hoping they create a web interface as well since it’s more than a bit fidgety to use the phone to create routes.
@Mi_chael said in How to create POIs in Suunto App:
Arff !! I need it in early November…
Here is a solution!
Import or draw a route with waypoints in MC web (If you want POIs you can add those here as well)
Make sure you are synced to SA with the watch then force quit SA (it cannot be running in the background)
Download MC app to your phone, you watch will be recognized and will sync to MC (make sure SA is NOT running first)
Your route with POIs will be loaded into the watch but all sport mode customizations will be overwritten by MC.
Force quit MC (not running in the background)
Open SA and sync. The route will remain in the watch memory with POIs and your sport modes will re-sync.
You will need to redo this over again to delete the route and replace “import or draw” in step 1 with “Turn off route”
This works for me with S9 and S5, I don’t know about Ambits as I do not have one now and this was working with iOS but I think works the same for Android. I know, a clunky solution until we get POIs or waypoints in SA. I am currently using this for my races as I like to have waypoints for aid stations.
@Jaanus77 said in Spartan Trainer frozen:
The display showes frozen image of the display at the moment it froze.
I think theres still some 75% battery left, so as its not used it will take long time for it to empty.
I think the problem might be that Movescount and new Suunto app both tried to connect with the watch and that crashed something.
in this case, even if normally it shouldn’t happen anymore with latest watch FW (but as your watch is new, does it have this last FW ? ), maybe could you force close both app in your phone (android or iOS ? ) and restart upper button thing.
If not, afraid that you will have to wait the watch battery to be empty or maybe can it wake up alone before.
