@sartoric yes I am aware how target zones work and use whenever I can, but right now they are pretty much useless if you want structured workouts and can only do simple repeated on/off intervals at same levels. I am talking about being notified of what zone you are in during workouts … something like 5 beeps or vibrations for zone 5, 4 for zone 4 and so on. For a use case take an example of a very simple cycling interval workout: 3 min warm-up 3 x (3 min at tempo 70-80% FTP @ 90 rpm / 5 min at sweet-spot 80-95% FTP @ 60 rpm) 4 x (2 min at tempo 70-80% FTP @ 90 rpm / 1 min full 100% FTP @ 60 rpm) 3 min cool-down (FTP = functional threshold power) This is the type of thing we still can’t set up on the watch to follow and would be quite dangerous to do outside without the audio/vibration feedback from the watch just to check on the screen which power zone you are actually in. This is just one of many examples. Also this is handy for HR zones when climbing on a bike so you don’t overshoot and blow out as we say - there are always sections on a course you know you can push full gas because there is a mellow section afterwards to recover and know what zone to stay in to recover for the next push … a lot of zone jumping so a simple “target zone warning” won’t cut it. Constantly looking down at the watch on the handlebars is often times dangerous. But yes, I get it … not many people use this and it is not main stream enough to implement, even tho other companies do it.

@tomas5 said in Komoot integration: @jthomi well default all your routes imported and created are marked as private so they shouldn’t use them for other users. Well, the thing is, my Komoot activities are by default visible by my «close friends» (in Komoot terminology), which is what I choose and I’m OK for, as long as it’s only for the «proper» bike runs, tracked with the Wahoo (that currently sync directly from there). I don’t want other activities to appear on that Komoot account. As my use for navigation on the watch itself is pretty non-existent, I’ll stick to my current setup.

@halajos said in Fueling/Nutrition reminder: Will it be possible to trigger nutrition reminders based on calories burned? I’m curious about the capabilities of the S+ guides feature. For instance, for intervals, would be nice to trigger the next sprint when the HR goes below a preset threshold. Not with the current implementation, but those are good requests.

Karoo 2 doesn’t calculate calories based on HR. Would be great to have the calculation done by SA as the ride is imported. For example TP and Strava are able to calculate calories for rides imported from KAROO2. I think it must be possible also for SA especially because SA and KAROO2 bolongs to the same partnership platform.

Hi, I up this topic, because I had à use case yesterday where this feature would have been useful. I have the route of à treck (done with SA ) , but I needed to go to another point. I Could have stopped my activity, created à New route and synced it with watch, but I would have preffered being able to create a POI (Waypoint) on the go

@mff73 obviously I don’t want you to make this big job, also a measure of your actual battery at 50% would be interesting, the last battery I’ve removed due to problems (but only 6 months old and around 15h of work) , was at 3.01V the new one at 3.30V

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos absolutely, and it’s much better integrated (it was mentioned in a discussion with @Brad_Olwin few days ago). The only downside is having to manually set your zones in the watch, but at least for me zone changing does not happen that often so I don’t mind.

It sounds more like we need some sort of multi-stage or continuous activity which you can actually interrupt and then continue or some sort of group that all activities registered after the group tracking is enabled will fall into one bag. In diary it would be seen as one activity but it could be open and see all of it separately or merged together. To be honest, it’s not just a multi-day but sometimes I want to stop tracking the activity when I’m taking a longer break. Usually, for 30-60 min break, I just pause the watch but this doesn’t turn off GPS and seems to be draining the battery more ( and I can’t use the watch just as a watch ). The continuous activity would solve this problem. Or simplest solution, uploading FIT or TCX files which contain the whole activity. As it has been said before, the merging can be done using third-parties ( this will include merging all the data like HR, GPS etc. ) however I don’t see a way to log activity manually by uploading the file. @Audaxjoe how can you upload it to Suunto app ?

I’ve started a similar thread after I found out about Strava “Slide” feature but I should have continued here. It seems that Strava was experimenting with this - https://labs.strava.com/slide/ - and their algorithm is available on MIT license on github - https://github.com/paulmach/slide - which makes it possible to implement with Suunto App.

@Mff73 said in SuuntoApp Photo galery improvement: Two solutions I see : Enable multiple photo selection with local picture manager app in the phone (currently this option is only one by one photo) Hi, in addition to my current issue and 4.33 version for not allowing me to upload more than 2 photos at once, i would like to refresh this feature request : @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos could it be technically feasible to enable SA import multiple photos but using other picture managers in my smartphone for multiple selection ? so that we can benefit from each one filtering features, and not just file modification date sorting

@false this also does not happen to me, I never lost a custom mode with a software update. But I know it happens to some people, and Suunto has reports and is investigating.
