for iOS is not Locus Map available; therefore I use Guru Maps (formerly known as “Galileo Offline Maps”), which supports offline sqlitedb anebo MBTiles.

@FredMt I think your issue should be fixed on the next update. If you are on beta that should come quicker than on normal releases. That also means that the data is stored correctly, so updating the app will enable and show the ascent as far as I understand.

Yes it’s doing the same thing, but it’s intended for something different, like people who has a bike computer from garmin, and a watch from garmin and what not… What i was originally talking about was simple strava sync, that garmin does flawlessly, as garmin connect sends AND recieves workout data to strava. Suunto ONLY sends, and thus calendar in suunto remain empty my entire winter. Unless you actually pay for a service, or transfers everything manually after every ride. This still does not fix my issue with my watch not being synced to the Suunto APP, the watch only sends workout data, so the watch acts more like an ANT+ HR/GPS device than anything else.

@Knigge-Bogge I do not think this will happen as it limits flexibility as I stated before. We are now close to what we had with the Ambit but with significantly more flexibility by choosing partners. I think it might be difficult and time consuming to determine calendar inputs for all connected partners on the Suunto side.

Hello. I have personally tried several brands (Garmin, Polar…) and the last one I use is Suunto and the quality and simplicity as well as the perfect connection with my Race are noticeable. As a counterpoint, I would like to mention its lack of dual connection…

@Jamie-BG I definitely agree that a sleep mat is likely to be more accurate than a wrist device, and it’s really nice not to have to wear anything on my wrist when sleeping. However, once this pandemic is over and we all start travelling again, it would be nice to be able to use my watch to track my sleep when not at home. In fact, if my watch becomes good enough I may switch from the map completely, as I would prefer to have all of my data in one place, rather than jumping between multiple apps (just need the Suunto App to link with my wi-fi scales next).

Posting again for visibility, this would be very nice to have, and both Komoot and Strava have something similar already.

@harry08 I can also search for completed routes by name in komoot. I justed suggested a similar functionality in suunto. Thanks for the suggestion tho!

@seanvk said in HRV By using 2 watches: @GiPFELKiND So, are you going to wear three watches now? To be fair, I am usually wearing one of three watches Vertical, Race, Epix 2 Pro with an AWU! Yes i have now 3 warches but only one usually on my wrist

@herlas I am a bit slow on the uptake sometimes, I get what you are looking for now. We are using ZS a bit differently. I think you can find your optimum thresholds for training using ZS and make more intelligent decisions especially regarding higher intensities (VO2M and above) to ensure you are pushing hard enough!

@mff73 said in Workout mass edit: As this post seems waken up, me too . It is not that often, but I still need sometimes mass changes, and fortunetly I can do it with my android rooted phone and sql database statements. Really not convenient and not accessible to anyone, but it works for some type of mass changes. It lacks an UI, integration in SA, controls not to change silly data, etc . It comes also to another idea (maybe already raised) : what about SA plug-ins? Maybe some skilled coders with official Suunto “rules”, could enable extra features that Suunto could consider but not implement (priorities, etc…). That’s it for my silly ideas

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos is this still planned? iOS still don’t have landscape mode and it is already two years since planned. In that timeframe whole app could be coded twice :D. Native iPadOS version would be even better because in iPad there is possible to use iOS app but it is just streched/resized app and user experience is really bad on iPadOS.

Thanks @margusl, come to think of it … my pedal power meter also supports both and I should be good by just buying an ANT+ dongle for my PC and off to the races. Now it’s just a matter of testing out how good my trainer plays with Zwift. I will report back when I am able to ride again.
