So there is lot of differences between iOS and Android, unfortunately iOS being the loser one in this race. Hopefully this would be corrected…

@MarkG said in Mountain/Hill running sport mode?: It still seems to me to be a strange omission from the standard list of activities, especially in a watch I suspect will be used by lots of mountain runners especially bearing in mind some of the other activities on there. Here is a thought. Suunto exports activities as FIT files to 3rd party platforms like Strava. They very likely have to follow standard established activity types and subtypes so that other platform understand the data. The FIT standard is owned by Garmin. As far as I know Trail Run is a standard activity type but there is no Mountain Run or Hill Run. Even if Suunto adds a new type inside the Suunto Platform, they’ll likely have to export these activities as trail runs which would probably complicate things.

@loverain I agree: I don’t have the entire structure in mind and the need to know what’s next is crucial

@Bilal-Issa I’m agree with the integration into Health Connect. I should be a must, to sync with health and sport data through health apps.

@Mennekk Absolutely agreed, right now we are looking at by default data that we don’t know the meaning. Please let us customize.

@Patrick-RS The root cause is not activity type but the fact they are imported. Currently (since a while), imported activities into Suunto environment is : calculating zones duration based on “standard zones” and not user customized one, and those activities seems not to be counted into HR statistics, guessing it is due to “standard zones” (just guessing).

@Johan-Winberg I experienced this problem today, and I thought my watch was broken! I was going to post about it, but I saw you’d already reported it. Good point! Thanks!

@Keith-Yuen but you already can insert any photo. Edit an activity -> Tap to select photos -> select a photo you want. That’s it.

@Audaxjoe Well, you’re right or you make a choice, the whole always on feature disappears, who likes just a watch, who likes more information when fading out

Locking the topic. Suggestions are welcome, but please create one topic per suggestion. One topic for all wishes - from portable nuclear reactor to walkman - is not good for gathering opinions

@BRogers80 Now I am a little lost… I understand now your explanation regarding how the SA gets the HR zones populated (SA pulls zones from watch and combine with HR data from the .fit file…). But is that something which Suunto also could do: pull powerzones from my watch and combine with power data in the .fit file? So I don’t understand the ticket for Hammerhead…? Or is that ticket meant to get the custom zones in the.fit file so Suunto could “call” for the custom zones directly?
