    @HonzaS I just have to comment that even though the pictures look extremely nice in this blown up state, in reality we have to fight with physics and optical laws. Edit: at your post https://forum.suunto.com/post/188741 For example: I am myopic (nearsighted), which means that removing my glasses - for general sight - I can see fine details at a close range. But, on my Suunto Race S these new Elevation Labels on the Contour Lines are practically invisible. I see the lighter area surrounding the label, but the numbers themselves are undiscernable without a jewelers loupe/magnifying lens. This is at a distance between eye and watch of ca 18 cm (ca 7 inches) which is my current focus point at the age of 66. Perhaps a younger person would have a better chance with these tiny details though…

    Gave it a shot on suunto vertical yesterday really pleased to get the actual power data pulled in with HR The automatic detection/ connection to the PM5 is nice, but potentially not nice if you can’t confirm which unit you’re connecting to in a room with a dozen ergs being used at once.

    Try soft reset. I had huge animation stuttering when scrolling, or widget shortcut. I did first thing that came in my mind - soft reset

    I think best way to keep custom apps would be to import the plus apps into the Suunto phone app. Then transfer it to the watch. This way you would not need to pair PC and then app again after testing and the plus app could stay on the watch. I don‘t know if this will be possible…

    Well I did a soft reset of the watch and now it’s available again, strange but it works again fortunately.

    @Egika Indeed, good news! However, Suunto’s auto-reverse feature is notoriously glitchy as has been discussed on this forum (here and others). This is especially true if your route is an out-and-back or includes any crossover sections or intersections. I wonder if this has been addressed? Unfortunately, I won’t be able to test as I do not have a newer device.

    @Egika That would be possible if the coordinates of the POI are known. The problems is that the only value for POI seems to be the distance. (/Navigation/Poi/Active/Distance) Target location (/Navigation/Targetlocation/Distance and /Navigation/Targetlocation/Coordinates) does seem to provide this information but when you select a POI the target location remains empty.

I just tried this since I was wondering the same thing (I have two phones that I switch between, one running old SA software and one with the new offline map option). So it will work, but the key is to remove the pairing from the watch only (Settings > Connectivity > Paired devices > MobileApp > Forget). This will keep the watch associated with the device you are moving away from and thus keep the offline maps as available option. However, if you remove the watch from the app by using the “Manage connection” option, offline maps disappear. I assume this will work for a tablet running SA as well.

    Good morning, I finally confirm that with the V update. 2.53.42, the Outback Adventure dial, is also available again for the 90th Anniversary. Thank you Suunto for fixing this bug.
