@KingK0ng i set my rest HR to 65. My night min HR is usually around 48-51. I set rest HR based on my HR when i sit calm without movement for some time. And i adjusted it little bit. It took me longer time to figure it out with Suunto 5 so it doesn’t shown always that i am in stress even when i was just sitting at office. Now with Race 2 i just copied same walue from Suunto 5. And Max HR i set based on 220-age. It is not correct but good enough estimate.

@peegee Why don’t you simply zoom out by rotating the crown? That should be easier than panning the map around, especially when moving fast I know that may be a rhetorical question because trails disappear from the map when zooming out, so the question is more towards the Suunto team.

@Francesco-Pagano Today I tried a different interval workout and that screen appeared. In the meantime, I found a bug which might be related to the missing screen in the previous workout: if you set an interval with a pace target between 3:40–4:00, the app changes it to 3:39–3:59 after creating the interval. At least on iOS, this happens. I don’t know why, and I’m not sure if that’s what caused the screen not to appear. There are also some other strange bugs across the app — for instance, my height is set to 181 on the watch, but the app shows 180. But going back to the intervals screen: At the top, it shows the target pace for the interval. In the middle: current pace, interval target pace, heart rate, and remaining distance. It would be interesting not to repeat the target pace twice – next to the current pace it should instead show the lap average pace.

@Tomas5 Yes, I think its an undocumented feature. Found the function it by accident in direct sun, easy to reproduce if you try. Takes about 1-3 seconds to adapt on my Race S. Not much slower then raise to wake

@thanasis said in Storm alarm and DND: @Tomas5 said in Storm alarm and DND: Hello, if i enable storm alarm, will it be silent when i have do not disturb enabled? I would like to have storm alarm during day but i don’t want watch to wake me up in middle of night when i am at home. well, let it capture the event first and then should you worry about it . in my case, the storm alarm is something that is not really working over the last few suunto watches I would prefer not capture it during sleep

@Squirrel said in Sleep tracking - HR graph issue: Looks like it. Works in Suunto Android app 6.2.2 also on my Race with android app (6.2.2) it works correctly. As a comment I would say that the sleep graph is a bit too shaded, but apart that it is really a nice feature.

I got the Race 2 yesterday , and I’m glad I chose the grey color. Nevertheless, it would be great if Suunto offered more colors in the future.

@gogapo you can delete it individually. deleting is not synced. If deleted on the watch, it will stay in the app. If deleted in the app, it will stay in the watch (just not forever, as it will be overwritten eventually some time. Also FW updates delete some details). If you want it back in the app, you will have to uninstall/reinstall the app.

@burrowsnp I agree about the brightness. Sleep mode needs to be scaled down a bit. When it’s not in sleep mode and it’s dark in the room or outside, it scales up rather than down (maybe an issue with the ambient light sensor in that environment). I didn’t see the same issues with the HRM though. Could be related to the ZoneSense issue - I haven’t used ZoneSense yet myself, so I hope it gets fixed as it seems quite useful! I disable wrist HR for runs when I use an external HRM (using the Garmin HRM Pro and sometimes the COROS HRM). The problem I’m having is we’re all waiting on an update from our friends at Suunto as to whether these are known issues that will be addressed in a software update, or will some of these be blown past and have us wait for two or three more release cycles. Garmin watches have similar issues and it’s sometimes upwards of a year before they get all the bugs out. I’m testing the new Coros watch as well and it’s basically bug free right out of the gate. Not to mention when you engage in their forum, the team actually responds (and often times it’s the CEO himself). The watch has a ton of potential - just a few hot fixes needed soon. Would be a good idea for Suunto to reach out to some of us passionate users to beta test devices before public release so these can ironed out.

@Egika Yes, the OHR LED is still flashing, I can even see the HR on the graph in the Suunto App during the night [image: 1757491107519-screenshot_20250910-095321.png]
