@inkognito thanks for the replies. Yes, Ray’s review of the S9P and snap-to-route (s2r) is a big reason why I finally decided to upgrade from my old A3P. That review placed the seed in my head and I finally pulled the trigger last month. I’ll be sure to add this to the surveys. I imagine something along these lines is already in the works. Definitely feels inefficient UX to expect users to manually create loops. Perhaps a better implementation is by having route types (out and back, vs closed loop, vs end to end, etc), to prevent the race distance issues. And s2r can adjust behavior based on route type. But again, I don’t know what’s happening behind the scenes. Anyways, I trust there’ll be a solution in the future and will make note of this on surveys. Thanks for the information.

@seanvk I am in the situation since very longtime ago. I am using a s9b. After each workout I am uploading manually.fit file to SA to monitor my activity and analyze my data in wahoo app or Runalyze. I was hoping a integration similar to hammerhead with Wahoo.

@herlas OK, Definitely not a feature yet on the S9PP. I just checked on my options under Trail Running and Auto Scrolling is not there. Maybe in a future update? Will let others closer to insider previews weigh in!

@Elipsus I had old Garmin sensor and it worked ok with my Ambit 2, but that was long time ago. You can only connect one bike sensor via Bluetooth and have no idea will this sensor work with Suunto 9PP.

@freeheeler Well, even though it might not be an easy think to allow edits for recorded GPS data, other tools can do. I think in the end the question is, how far Suunto want to go with their app/tools. I agree, the GPS-topic might go too far. Anyhow, hope is there. So if you can point me to existing suggestions, I will surely upvote those. PS: Yes, the bike is very very nice. I can definitely recommend it (YT Capra)

@freeheeler When I bought the watch I chose a microfiber strap and probably wasn’t a good choice, so I just ordered a velcro strap and will try it out these days. My AW has it and it is very comfortable, but more importantly you can adjust the watch more accurately with significant benefits, I suppose, for HR readings. Thanks! update: I did a couple of runs and the velcro strap is way better than the microfiber one. I can’t say yet if it also solved the above problem, but I am very satisfied with its performance. @Mff73 you would loose altitude accuracy. Reaching down to 20m under water results in 1bar additional pressure. 1bar=1000hpa Around sea level 1hpa=8m of altitude. So the factor of pressure change above and below sea level is 1:8000 Cannot figure out the rest of the math, but altitude would jump in like big steps and not the 1m we are used to.

For some reason CAQI is only 3 in Belgrade right now, would expect more with this cold. I can confirm that at 3 there is still information provided. I have also reported this to Suunto yesterday.

@LudovicTheRunner it may be wiser to schedule the consumption of carbs according to what amount your body’s can absorb in a given unit of time, rather than based on estimated calories expenditure.

I have contacted the online customer service and rolled back the software to previous version 2.33.16 by the guidance. The issue is not seen anymore, so the new feature should be introduced in the new version 2.35.34, but I don’t like it.

@zhang965 said in Regular nighttime oxygen metrics question S 9 Peak Pro: I do use the finger sensor as well. My perspective is the optical sensor is NOT SUITABLE for a one moment measurement. (Not for medical usage) The optical sensor can give you a very accurate value for a period average but NOT ONE GIVEN MOMENT . So even everytime I trigger the oxygen saturation measurement, it shows a ridiculous value, globally the night max value is correct. It’s why I do use finger sensor to measure my morning HR to understand if my recovery is done. My watch cannot give me a good value at that moment. Yes, those are very correct points, nothing can be concluded from the individual measurements, just from the principle of the matter. But if, for example, I attach a small ball to my back that pushes me and forces me to sleep on my side and not on my back all night. And I see that my average night saturation has increased by 3% (relative). Then I realize that sleeping on my back causes snoring for me and vice versa, sleeping on my side free the respiratory tract and voila, the impact on the quality of life is great But unfortunately the maximum value is useless in this case, because I slept for a while both nights on the side when my saturation would be correct. That’s why I think the maximum value can’t be the only correct value
