@Mff73 you would loose altitude accuracy. Reaching down to 20m under water results in 1bar additional pressure. 1bar=1000hpa Around sea level 1hpa=8m of altitude. So the factor of pressure change above and below sea level is 1:8000 Cannot figure out the rest of the math, but altitude would jump in like big steps and not the 1m we are used to.

Just to avoid confusion (there isn’t any officially announced update ) and since there is another thread about the firmware update, I’m closing this one

@music_and_cities If the bottom of Z1 is above 114 bpm, which it is for me, you will not see the pointer and the display will appear as you see. The pointer will move up when you are in Z1. What is your Z1 set for? Just checked mine, you should have a pointer at the bottom of the ring.

@wmichi Agreed! I must admit that I was ready to let go some extra cash for the solar charge and buying the Vertical, letting go the slenderness and sweet spot of features of the 9PP. Today with the 9PP the quick charge has proven to be very convenient in a very much “real life” way.

@larrybbaker said in Sunrise & Sunset on stock face: @Egika I do not have a S9PP - but in my vertical with this watch face it updates/switches to the sunset/sunrise time correctly. When I have switched to the others - they all update correctly also from what I can tell… daytime it shows sunset and after sunset it shows sunrise. Listen to this Suunto team and employees! Is it difficult to replicate this behavior in Suunto 9 Peak Pro?

@Elipsus said in Bug while following GPX track “marked path”: @Egika oh i see, i understand a bit more the snap to route… However, I’m still not sold on it, because “what if” the gpx track given by the organisaion isn’t perfect somewhere/had to make a last minute detour ? I have the very real risk of a completely butchered map display… From my point of view, not handling this situation seems a bit of an oversight… For my next run I will stay on the intinery thing without directions, thanks for the advice You can still follow the provided GPX track without using the snap to route feature. Your watch will show the GPX planned route, the activity will be plotted by GPS and the deviation will be captured properly in the app afterwards.

@Johnny99 if you hold the middle button you should be able to zoom in and out with the top and bottom button.

@Dušan-Ković said in Elevation data and measurement: @Likarnik I know, but it would be nice not to overestimate, at least to be close enough Many time discussed : basically the elevation estimation mainly depend on the map raster used and its resolution, combined with the program that uses it (komoot, SA…) For instance in France when I want a good estimation of elevation I will use the “ign” rasters that are the best to me. But there are always differences whith final mesurement. Your S9PP is more precise for elevation mesurement than most public rasters.

@Mff73 in many cases, today included I did delete the faulty sport modes before creating new ones. Basically I did probably 10 attempts to create the running sport mode I want without success so far

@suunto2023user Just like the first one at https://repair.suunto.com/CustomerPortal/RepairCustomerPortal and uploaded the service note from my previous repair together with the photos of the watch/error. Replacement/repair took about 3 weeks.

@freeheeler When I bought the watch I chose a microfiber strap and probably wasn’t a good choice, so I just ordered a velcro strap and will try it out these days. My AW has it and it is very comfortable, but more importantly you can adjust the watch more accurately with significant benefits, I suppose, for HR readings. Thanks! update: I did a couple of runs and the velcro strap is way better than the microfiber one. I can’t say yet if it also solved the above problem, but I am very satisfied with its performance. Hi, I have similar problem, but little bit different. I can only see one Strava segment in my Suunto App. It is always the first listed in “Starred segments” on Strava. I have tried to un-star, re-star both, then the same combined strava disconnection, still the same. Don’t you have any idea why? I think I should see them more on 9 Peak Pro.
