@isazi said in Cancellare itinerari: or have a routine that removes routes front the watch if they are not in the app anymore, similar to what happens with ghost notifications. Yes, that’s what I would have assumed. Sort of a permanent check/sync for routes. But it might be more complicated than think to implement.

Okay I just did my test run with the s9p and the Suunto smart Sensor and now HRV appears on runalyze, ai endurance as well as in the fit file . So it seems that the s9p and the Garmin HRM Pro Plus are incompatible if it comes to hrv. Would be interesting which side the problem is on.

@isazi I’m doing indoor cycling regularly and don’t have this issue. Once or twice I had lower HR for the first few minutes but I think that I started the activity immediately without waiting for HR indicator to stabilize first… When I wait for it to get stable, than it works OK.

I have this sometimes as well when the watch doesn’t fit well on the charger.

@mr-blom my problem started after the firmware update, also escalated during the last (two???) months. The peak point was last week, when the watch even ran into an error and asked me to hard reset it. Here is the thread where I talked about my issue, you can have a look. Maybe our problems are related, and involve the firmware, though they don’t look similar https://forum.suunto.com/topic/8563/suunto-9-baro-crashes-restarts-at-the-beginning-of-a-training?_=1674920491018

@Ramrod That is so the watch can connect rapidly to the satellites to update position. It is not for setting time and allows a much more accurate start to the GPS track.

Do you use some bluetooth device (heart rate sensor)? If the issue happens again, can you check the assisted GPS status? Just to verify if the isuue is a ramdom crash and reboot of the watch

@Panagiotis-Kritikakos said in GPS offset by many meters: @thanasis While commuting I am getting through the same road, with the same watch Although haven’t noticed any issues. I have noticed though in other cases some offset, also with Garmin GPS handled device, but I reckon it’s a matter of GPS signal quality, satellite availability, weather and surrounding conditions that for some reason or another can differ on some days or moments. I recall days on hiking where the return route is even on the exact same steps and the final route shows difference between go/back ways. I think the last to blame is the software in this case. Anyway, I second @Łukasz-Szmigiel, and wouldn’t be that much bothered in such not life/death situations Usually I am not concerned about inaccuracies but this time we are talking about a lot and following an activity which doesn’t use GPS (indoor tennis) . Anyway , I treat this as a random thing and will monitor it for the future. thanks

@Ultrawalker I use dark for everything, I just find the contrast and colors better during the day and at night.

@freeheeler In fact, at least for me, the current strap has made the big difference, now giving me consistent results. also, be careful to stand still during measurements.

@isazi said in customizing sport mode: @gi0vanni I asked, will share ether answer, but my guess is that it only works for the S9B because of the larger screen. I have tested ,and same with s9pp. If this is the case, we would expert the app to refuse any customization of thèse fields, no?

If you open the map screen in Suunto App you can see the dot representing yourself, using the phone location provider (GPS/wifi/bluetooth/etc).
