S9P Display Timeout not invoked after sunset alarm
-
This may be a minor bug in the latest release for S9 ( 2.23.20 ) including both the Peak and the Baro models.
If I set my watch on a desk and the display timeout turns off the screen, when a Sunset alarm fires, the screen will stay lit until the watch is disturbed. Prior to being moved, the watch will show the alarm time and the display timeout will be ignored. After being moved, the displayed watch time will refresh to current and the screen will turnoff in the usual inactivity time of ~80 seconds
I can easily reproduce on both an S9P and S9B ( whichever watch I’m not wearing ), it may be related to having the Activity HR monitoring on and Power Saving also enabled.
This is only interesting for people who are trying to save battery, I’m reasonably certain this doesn’t reproduce in earlier releases.

@Bradleyd I reported this bug a while ago, I can reproduce it for years
