@Ultrawalker I use dark for everything, I just find the contrast and colors better during the day and at night.

@freeheeler In fact, at least for me, the current strap has made the big difference, now giving me consistent results. also, be careful to stand still during measurements.

If you open the map screen in Suunto App you can see the dot representing yourself, using the phone location provider (GPS/wifi/bluetooth/etc).

@isazi gps jammers are popular for illegal activities as well and are related to health and security concerns also . In any case let’s focus on the actual capabilities of the devices we have and how to get the most out of it . So far I feel the gps of the S9p is really good .

After the update, I waited almost 15mins to catch the gps, it’s a common issue

@gi0vanni ah okay, thanks! I see now that you have bought it for s9p. I have an S9 with a larger strap width, which is unfortunately not available.

@Łukasz-Szmigiel The watch would trigger compass calibration in that case. But it doesn’t detect that the compass is not working properly in the first place…

@Brad_Olwin so you think that you can not run 6h in Z3? My last race in august (50k, 2400m verical gain) was also 6h, with 160bpm avg, that is deep into current Z3. Same race last year (before lab test) was 6h20min with 163bpm avg. Was my test not accurate? I think I should do it again…

Just a short note on a very old annoyance This issue is fixed since last weeks fmw update. Backlight now stays off when watch is positionend on handlebar, during bikeride. Much appreciated, but wondering if this was an actual RFC or by accident .

I think cleaning log be good. So far I don’t use watch to check logs older than day or so. And I have everything on my phone if I want to check. Is there any reason for logs to be on watch memory all the time?

I got fed up with all the mistakes: sleep tracking, gps faults, running time and distance miscalculation. Sent it again to service.
