@TELE-HO Understood and I’m not looking for a 100% comparison. Yesterday morning we recorded a 6 miles run in the city and had almost identical mileage. So maybe, we are losing gps signal during backwoods trekking. I do appreicate your reply!
Go to the right upper corner to the gear icon
Select watches
You will see your watch name there
Press many times on the watch name
A “checkbox” will appear that will say: Turn off the device after factory reset
Check the checkbox
Press factory reset and follow the procedure
Let it poweoff
Connect it to USB and it will power on ok
@kaschmtom first of all, do your watch have baro? If not, the ascent is measured with the GPS and only when it’s set to best accuracy. So, if the Suunto doesn’t have baro and the Garmin have is normal that you see some differences. If the Suunto has baro probably the Garmin is wrong.
Secondly, could you give more data regarding the differences, I mean, real values like 20 m difference or 300 m…
DIY 🙂
In my case Mounting point was easy - as my stem got plastic GoPro mount (thanks Bontrager 🙏)
Arms - I have reused Alu-plate scrap that was laying around
First body prototype - used from Medicine container + 2 Alu plate caps i made & glued. - I wasn’t very happy with shape and how bulky was.
Second body - I used plastic holder from my Swatch (as recently dropped by to store for battery replacement - and came out they wanted to give me new box - so i asked to keep old broken one). I used blow torch to bend a bit and reshape it to final form.
Filled with foam to keep it a bit more secure, glued arms - and used electric tape.
I am very happy with final results.

@murphyp228
I don’t think so until it has been developed for S9/5 line. Sorry but that Spartan will not get… you can find on the forum many threads about that.
@windy ah, OK, problem is I never use do not disturb mode! So maybe it is a bug… And why would do not disturb mode have a dim backlight anyway? Don’t see the logic.
Solved it, there is an ‘auto do not disturb’ button under sleep options, which is on by default.
@TELE-HO Thanks for your input, that’s actually a great idea to achieve what I want, especially since the autolaps are quite flexible and can be set by the second.
