@steff said in Suunto app watch problem: @jamie-bg I fixed the problem by clearing the data of the Suunto Wear Service on the watch. The problem, which I expected, is that I lost all the stats from yesterday which were not synced with the phone app and all history of stats, activities and routes from the watch app. Only clear data and cache from App on suunto Phone App, then login, and Data Sync, Steps and Activities, but not for long I got same issue again And after that removed Watch with Factory Reset but it is not helping. This is a Screenshot after this. Battery Savings Settings from Phone are correct. That Issue must come from last Update. [image: 1633116008727-screenshot_20211001-170410_suunto.png]

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos Not sure how it works fine for you, as soon as the screen dims (and presumably the watch goes into low power mode) the “Heart for Bluetooth” drops connection with zwift, I have to wake it up by pressing a button or do the wrist-turning gesture to wake it up. I’ve been running some app called FITV in the background so it seems to keep the watch -awake (obviously inefficient for anything other than this). Heart rate for bluetooth produced consistent results now with no drops.

@quattrojames You have to restart it, redial and restart, and so a couple of times, check if the screen improves.

@Kai-Liu adb shell pm list packages -d | cut -d ':' -f 2 | tr -d '\r' | xargs -L1 -t adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 With this command you can unistall all deactivated packages at once (linux pc and bash). Works via USB or WLAN connected S7.

@NickK In fact, I think there is no interest in developing an app that is truly functional for both Google and Apple

you’re probably right, I’m just a little bit crazy, I like to think that a little glass can make the difference in a more important “bang”. Knowing that my screen is immaculate under the protective glass makes me feel at peace with myself

Hello, It’s a very old topic but to not create a new one with almost the same content I continue here This topic saved me to not doing a Factory Reset only when I need to switch to a new phone device. Works like a charm with only one exception that I can’t found a solution: Wear OS app and SA detect the S7 perfect and without problems, everything have a normal behavior with these exceptions: Bluetooth on the S7 can’t detect it the internet connection from my mobile: this happen even when the SA is connected to the S7 with the green dot, etc working normally. But on S7 side Connections > Bluetooth > still displaying my mobile as “disconnected”. This causes that the S7 can’t detect the internet connection when it’s available and don’t update the maps for example. All sync activities works perfect (Excersices, Custom Sport Modes, etc). It’s not a problem for me because I connect using Wi-Fi or Mobile Hotspot each some interval and problem solved, but I ask here just in case that someone have a solution for this. Previous mobile still displayed as paired device: and can’t remove. It’s logic, I have not unpaired it my previous mobile and can’t unpair it from the S7. Anyone know how to unpair from ADB for example? I research for this info without success Thank you!

@olymay said in Suunto 7 - Manual lap display on watch: @Jamie-BG I’ve only used the default interval plan (not a custom mode) and it does not do any auto laps at all when running. You can still get your km splits back in the app or in Strava etc. Unfortunately, only the stock Interval running mode works for this. All Custom modes have autolap. I tried as I do not like Avg. Pace on the Interval mode, I want my real-time pace.

@nigel-taylor-0 Thx, yes, exactly, exist multiples approaches for the same, I tried to avoid them to have the correct track directly out from the watch

@jamie-bg I’m a bit confused… In the Google Fit app I see in the settings for “connected apps and devices” (I hope I translated correctly from German) “Suunto” and my health insurance. But I don’t know if “Suunto” is the Suunto app on the phone or the watch. But the funny thing is: On the S7 I see the steps from Suunto to be 1984 at the moment. Google Fit on the watch says 1984 as well. The Google Fit app on the phone says 1839 steps. And the health insurance app says 1984 again… So this is confusing for me. I thought the health insurance app connects to Google Fit somewhere on a Google server. But what does the Google Fit app on the phone do? Edit: Playing around with the Google Fit app on my phone (basically opening and closing several times) caused the app to show 1984 steps as well now. So it seems the Google Fit app is slower syncing to its own server than my health insurance app… Over the weekend I will test to remove the Google Fit account on the watch and see if the sync from Suunto app to Google Fit both on the phone works

@Raul-Raymond said in Start by playing music or video: Hi All, After i receive notifications, and i don’t read them, my watch shows this text instead of displaying my watch face: “Start by playing music or video from any app” If i swipe right it get’s back to my watch face but it’s frustrating to always get rid of that text. Any ideas how to get rid of that? You can try closing background media apps on your phone, disabling media controls on your watch, or restarting the watch to fix this issue. Also, check if media notifications are set to persist.

@freeheeler The Suunto 7 can’t connect to external Bluetooth sensors like footpods or heart rate monitors. The other Suunto watches can.
