@crupp, connect google fit, turn off the aut-recording and then just ignore google fit on the watch, and use the suunto tiles and app on your watch (I wouldn’t disable google fit as it controls the HR monitor and if you want to connect external bluetooth trackers you would need it). If you want to track health you will also need Google Fit, as the Suunto app (on the phone and watch) only provides activity detail (much better than google fit), step & calorie count. There is also a sleep tab which we currently don’t get, even if you use a 3rd party app. So to get a holistic health picture at the moment you have to use google fit (which they are slowly updating), to show weight, blood pressure, steps, calories, sleep etc all together. Fortunately it is a set up and forget as the suunto app will seamlessly sync the data between the two for steps and calarioes and any activity you done. If you perform any standalone HR readings these will also show up in google fit (no graph in suunto app - only as part of tracking).

@graciti - I believe that Apple is looking to change this based on some comments I have seen. I personally can’t see the detail they refer to, but would suggest reviewing the latest detail they provided in their most recent announcements and see if that is the case.

Guys, there is setting in Google Fit to enable automatic fitness tracking - do you have this option turned on?

Hi, I am wondering why I don’t see popular routes for running in my hometown? the heatmap has many streets being covered by runners and also a few starting points. But no popular routes are shown even if I zoom out. Do I miss something?

@cjp131 sorry to hear that, especially as I don’t have this issue. Apologies re lateness of reply - wasn’t sure my last text message was correct or not, so had to get someone to send me one. It all synced up fine.

@danielbrouwer1987 -which watch face are you using, as some may allow you to set alarms via the watch face, and they don’t always use the wear os alarm app/some do. By the way - how did you change what icons you want in the quick settings. The icons also look slightly different from mine too.

This happened to me too, but with S9baro. The altitude was off about 80-100m. The ascent and descent was precise though. I used the “endurance” battery setup. Could be that the case? Thanks.

@isazi same here! Battery - awesome! Altitude - very questionable compared to the good accuracy when running

@marty313 I would expect cycling to be reduced accuracy as you are moving faster. The battery in 1s mode should last a long time cycling so I would not used FusedTrack unless necessary. Great news regarding paddling.

@Dariusz-Rybak yes! Due to the always on power saving display and with the new GPS FusedTrack setting, now I can finally record a full day of hiking

@Kai-Liu said in How do I tell current temperature in Suunto 7?: @Egika is it accurate for you? It says 30C but the room temperature should be 26C. I guess because the watch itself is generating heat, and the sensor fail to compensate for that. This temperature information is the battery temp of the watch. It might be a little above ambient - especially during charging… So maybe it is not the best idea to rely on the data (have yet to try in water)
