I hope with this new situation the indoor sports, which aren’t in the ones we love most but I think they’ve come to stay Suunto can look at the indoor sports and have a. better integration with it.

@Brad_Olwin To be certain, I had notifications off but connection to SA is on. Every time new workout completed it starts to sync immediately.

@MickeytheFinn as you have experienced, you need a GPS fix at some point.

@loopylou72 j This should probably be moved to the appropriate OS, are you on iOS or Android? Could you try this on a stock sport mode? I will check with my watch today too.

@running-L It does sound like you may have a hardware issue, I have two S9s and they both fix very fast and rarely (I cannot remember the last time) lose a GPS fix during an exercise. It is possible when in areas that are difficult for GPS (deep canyon for instance). But, I did not get a GPS error when running a race early in March where there was a slot canyon. I would start a support ticket.

@gerasimos this is a fantastic idea. I like the idea of customizable long press features for each button. I do like quick access to settings with the middle button, but maybe some additional features could be long press the top/bottom buttons for backlight, screenlock, stopwatch/timer, alarm, start last performed activity (ie. run, swim, bike)[useful for those of us who have one predominant activity]…just to name a few. I am sure that there are many others that people could think of.

@ultrabirch Yes, and if they are off, you shouldn’t see nav screen among screens when working out, nor should there be any GPS tracks later. Did you try deleting a treadmill mode and creating it again?

@Matthew-Robertson Using a standard mode worked but turning off wrist HR may also trigger this issue. I had wrist HR on yesterday with a standard sport mode.

@Halcon Well, first view are common compass navigation indicators. The red is always the North https://www.suunto.com/Support/Product-support/suunto_spartan_ultra/suunto_spartan_ultra/features/points-of-interest/ The others are zones indicators https://www.suunto.com/Support/Product-support/suunto_9/suunto_9/features/intensity-zones/#topic_XY1NkxikIEO4TyozWstYig

When you zoom out you just see a dot, so that if you create multiple types of WP you can’t tell the difference between them. I did not know this feature was in SA, how do you add WP to a route? It’s in the beta version. Create a route and long press along the line, then you can choose the type of WP you want to add. I don’t have beta version, and I use iOS version. Will have to wait.

@TELE-HO in general you are correct. Many Informations can easily be dismissed with the middle button. Not so the downhill lap information in skiing. As I said - I reported it a year ago or so.

Anyway, see it as a “User-Story” and maybe communicate it to the developer team. Additional, it would be good to see those features on the ambit, cause that’s the classic model which use mountain-guides and other alpinists. There is no sense of purpose to use those newer (expensive) clocks with additional features of smart watches. I know that there are a lot of competitors on the market, but don’t forget the main (often simple) things of outdoor watches. However I think Suunto is still on the right way
