Suunto 9 - Cadance and Speed Sensor Pair Querry
-
Hi Everyone,
Like in most of the world, I am stucked at home as well and I can’t train outdoors for long time :(.
I switced to home trainer. It’s a basic one and does not have any sensor on it so to make the most out of my indoor riding I need some data.
I want to get a cadance and speed sensor to pair with my watch.
Do you have any suggestions?
Unfortunately Suunto bike Sensor is not available in Turkey.
Do Polar, Garmin or Decathlon C&S sensors pair with S9? Can I use it for Zwift?
I know most of us here mainly focus on Trail Running. If there are anybody with this experience, I appreciate

I guess all Bluetooth devices can be paired as my Polar H7.
-
I would also guess that any proper Bluetooth sensor would work, but cannot test that right now.

There is bike pod option on connectivity menu. Does bike pod mean speed and cadance sensors together?
-
@Fatih-Kale yes

@Fatih-Kale Hi, I am using Bontrager DuoTrap, it is designed for Trek frames, and iti is working great with S9B. I think any BT speed and cadence sensor will do the job. I am using it with Zwift also.

Yes, only combo sensor.
-
It must be a sensor that supports both cadence and speed. A sensor consisting of two devices will not work with S9. S9 can only support one device. In this case you will have a speed or cadence

Am using the Wahoo sensors … they work flawlessly!

Thank you everyone. This was all the information I needed.
