@Brad_Olwin Aha!! That did it! Perhaps it was a corrupted initial sync? Thank you!!! I’ll relay this feedback to customer support as well. Appreciate you all.

@Audaxjoe since iPhones seem to work with no issues whatsoever, I would argue it is phone firmware and possibly hard ware.

@LudovicTheRunner as far as I know, when the watch crashes, it automatically reboots. So you see the Suunto logo in the opening screen, and find yourself on the home screen. Shutting off without rebooting would seem more similar to a hardware fault to me, maybe a faulty battery.

@maszop That’s not what I meant. If you look at the HR before the 40 minute mark you see an average of 100-something. After the 40 minute mark 80-something. One of them is incorrect. Especially the sudden drop shortly before the 40 minute mark is not possible. I have done an experiment a while ago with an Epix Pro, using an Coros HRM and the Race S, waking a walk. Neither of the watches was spot on. Have to look it up. But I guess I should start a new topic for this…

@daniele-celauro I’m having the exact same issue on S9 1st generation. HR tracking worked fine a couple of days ago, but today completely vanished. Have you solved it?

I had exactly the same experience with my 7. It had one new screen under warranty but was out of warranty by the time it burnt the second time. When it refused to stay connected to my phone I called it a day and bought a Race which is fantastic, and twice the watch the 7 ever was. I think it was a misguided product from Suunto, but everyone makes mistakes and knowing what I know now I should never have bought it. Everyone makes mistakes though, and more than happy to buy another one.

Merci ! Björn

Hi all! My Android mobile phone can connect and be paired with my Suunto 5, but it keeps on pairing once both devices are connected. Obviously, no performance data is automatically synced. The app and softwares are updated. What might be the problem? Thanks!

Interesting take! A lightweight Suunto with Stryd support would be a game-changer for runners. I doubt they’ll add it, but if they did, I’d consider it too. The T6c was legendary—2000 miles is impressive!

@twekkel I see, that is a bit sad, makes no sense to always show the sunset or cice versa. I hope they might want to rethink this choice.

I don’t know if it has been already mentioned but low battery alert displays “5% remaining” at 10% battery.

@isazi I have H10 I can try this the next week. Any other settings we should take into account? Are you wearing the H10 all the time while in pause? any route following, suunto plus battery?

@Tomas5 I just watched this really cool video review of the Vertical. It goes into some fantastic detail on the navigation features AND its done showing the touchscreen in the rain. Shout out to this channel! I think I enjoyed it more than DCR or Desfit to be quite honest: Active Ideas: https://youtu.be/Ldx_YPgU87c [image: 1684075588976-e8e88cae-9a66-499b-914b-ee24a08bb50b-screenshot_20230514-073128-2.png]

@suzzlo said in Suunto Run + New Strap: @sky-runner have you being able to use it? Do you know if is the FW an evolution of the existing watches o a new FW? No, I didn’t use it. I saw it for like 30 seconds but another person (Suunto rep) was showing it to me when I mentioned I knew about it. The UI looked similar but I don’t recall any specifics. That isn’t a watch I’d buy, so I didn’t even ask to hold it.

@dankcushions someone on here have a great tip. Sometimes if you add one planning point and move it the whole route changes. Which is annoying. But if you add three, the one you want to move and two lock points you can then edit a section without the whole route changing .

@Stefano-M64 use average speed in time windows, not just when it’s below 2 kmh. For 10 sec for example.

Hello, Thanks for your help. I received this week my H10. The size M-XXL is the correct one for me. The H10 broadcast directly the data in ANT+ and Bluetooth, no need to set. So it’s work fine with my Ambit2 and iPad.

@matthinsh understood now, my mind went to sport modes and wasn’t thinking specifically about the track mode feature The track mode capability for Coros is pretty awesome actually I used the original Apex, Vertix and eventually Apex 2. Their app is getting better but is nowhere close to functionality of Suunto app (ease of routes, route library, etc). I do prefer their structured workouts set up and the online EvoLab is pretty cool (even if most of the metrics are pretty apparent rip offs of everything else which they claim to be proprietary but yet don’t release any sort of science to back it up)

@sky-runner maybe a silly idea, but what about using multisport ? entering an aid station you switch to any mode you customized for “”“pause”“” at station, and switchback to main one when going out ? if times data are setup correctely, you can have total time and/or current activity time (run or pause time in you case), previous pause and previous “stats”, etc… and you will have all details in SA after.
