@pavel-samokha I’ve noticed the same issue with older activities not displaying animations properly. It seems like only workouts synced directly from the watch to SA are working. Would be great if there was a way to support imported or older activities as well! Regarding the speed discrepancy, that’s an interesting find. The difference between the max speed shown in SA and the white flag animation does make it seem like a conversion issue. If it’s pulling from different data points (peak vs. recorded max), maybe there’s a way to standardize how it’s displayed? Also, I’d really appreciate having an option to manually switch between metric and imperial. Since it’s based on locale right now, it can be a bit inconvenient for those of us using different systems across devices. Hopefully, this is something that can be addressed in a future update!

@Captbrad said in apple watch to suunto app?: Thanks ALL, this was very helpful. I did some test runs with Apple Watch Today and the runs did show up in suunto app. Same for me - and if I opened SportsTracker on iOS I also have the daily heart rate values

@Radu-Negoescu maybe you are right, it would be best to see both times on main screen, but this is enough for me… And pace time… I didn’t show off :-)… I am not really proud with the pace, need to work, a lot, on my technique… still new to swimming… but thank you anyway…

@dedo2319 I’m on iOS. Referring to the other comments added, I tried to copy/paste the text from other app (e.g. google keep), and it works, however, I can not see more then 3 rows if I review the activity afterwards.

@nicolasp then we should disable steps/inactive/active calories counting not in sport as well as suunto measures way too much of them there are no device in the market which is 100% correct, once we will have AI in our wearables then we might have 99% correct data for daily activity, until we need to accept some discrepencies.

@geoffspakes said in Sport Modes Settings...: Those screenshots are from Movescount, I’m talking about via the Suunto app, I know how to do it from MC but I’ve disconnected from that with the latest update. I’ll check on the watch as has been suggested. Don’t worry, friend. We are just trying to give a general idea of which settings are right now in our watches and which of them are not. This could give an scenario for developers.

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos And I am happy to see Suunto app use the same maps as Movescount. Here’s hoping they create a web interface as well since it’s more than a bit fidgety to use the phone to create routes.

@Jaanus77 said in Spartan Trainer frozen: The display showes frozen image of the display at the moment it froze. I think theres still some 75% battery left, so as its not used it will take long time for it to empty. I think the problem might be that Movescount and new Suunto app both tried to connect with the watch and that crashed something. in this case, even if normally it shouldn’t happen anymore with latest watch FW (but as your watch is new, does it have this last FW ? ), maybe could you force close both app in your phone (android or iOS ? ) and restart upper button thing. If not, afraid that you will have to wait the watch battery to be empty or maybe can it wake up alone before.

On Android, the description is complete. However, in the lap table and in muy SSU it is hidden.

@nicauj - noticed the same issue with the S7, however it had no issues with backstroke, it was just the breaststroke. The Garmin F6 has no issues with any of the strokes as long as you don’t mix it within the lap. The only issue I have is that on the connect app if you mix styles within a set of laps it shows it as mixed, and unlike the Suunto app you cannot explode the detail out (which is super weird as you can with running etc). So if you want to see stroke detail you have to go to the website to see it.

@André-Faria said in required hardware for app: Maybe you are right. I thought that suuntolink was made for movescount enabled devices. But you are maybe right, that it is also used for fw upgrades . You need to test. I only have ambit 3 It is definitely used for firmware updates on S3, S5, S9, and can also sync AGPS data for S5/S9.
