@pavel-samokha I’ve noticed the same issue with older activities not displaying animations properly. It seems like only workouts synced directly from the watch to SA are working. Would be great if there was a way to support imported or older activities as well! Regarding the speed discrepancy, that’s an interesting find. The difference between the max speed shown in SA and the white flag animation does make it seem like a conversion issue. If it’s pulling from different data points (peak vs. recorded max), maybe there’s a way to standardize how it’s displayed? Also, I’d really appreciate having an option to manually switch between metric and imperial. Since it’s based on locale right now, it can be a bit inconvenient for those of us using different systems across devices. Hopefully, this is something that can be addressed in a future update!

It was discussed before. Suunto App only sync activities not settings/routes, for that you need to use suunto link… That or go back to movescount app

seems to be on the beta version and off the latest update. When you click into the day you can see your steps. No need to uninstall - go into app details and clear cache and storage. Force close app, then open it. When you log back in issue will be resolved.

@Yngve-O If you haven’t yet converted to SA, and you still want to use MC, don’t until you have to. SA will give you a download link to a GPX of your track as a route file (no timing). You can export your move as a FIT file from which you can extract a GPX track via another service. Try searching the forum for “GPX Export app”, minus the quotation marks, for more detail. In case you missed the announcements, Movescount, which just received a temporary stay of execution, is still for the chop in '21.

@margusl thank you very much for your help. It is not normal for us to have to find workarounds and alternatives to fill the lack of missing features / data with Suunto app. It is Suunto job to make this transition more smooth

@pavel-samokha said in How to retrieve raw activity data from Suunto App: @Mff73 from user standpoint (I mean me as a user) I think it’s nice idea. But as partner - don’t know, need some altruist like Dimi to implement such service. May be it’s better to request such feature from partners we already have - RunGap and SyncMyTracks - or may be they already have such feature? *Everything said here is my personal opinion Or to request from a service like Tapiriik that already connect services to Dropbox (example : Garmin Connect with Dropbox) ?

I need some help: I train with my Ambit3 Sport. But I cannot find out if the calorie count in my Spinning mode has my basic metabolism included in the calorie count or not. Here is an example: 1 hour pretty intense bike ride on a stationary bike with watt measurement. The bike says 280w avg and 1060 cal burned (deduct the BMR leaves me with approx. 930 cal burned for the ride). Suunto also tells me that I have burned 930 cal. If Suunto does NOT take into account that I would have burned 130 cal/h anyway by doing nothing then everything matches up. But can I be sure, that I should NOT deduct 130 cal from the Suunto number?

@Jamie-BG generally speaking - I find being able to personalize data screens fantastic and it works fine, is readable, etc. But here’s the issue - you can define every field in every “regular” screen (ie. 3 to 7 fields) but somehow in carousel view top and bottom fields are locked.

Just got an email stating that Movescount is closing in two weeks. Based on what I have seen here, the decision has been not to implement the training planning feature. Makes it easier to choose the next watch, if removing one of the key-features of the product I bought is according to Suunto’s standards.
