    This is almost unreadable for me, tiny fonts (I see a pattern here) - I hope Suunto create a dedicated app or even a web app with dark mode.

    External sync through Sports-Tracker

    @ColdBeer its hard to not automate this time the automatic sync. That is technically due to OAuth. OAuth signs you in to another service, then you come back to the app with a secret token (that needs now and then refresh), the server saves it and with that token it uploads for you. You have given specific permissions to that token, eg to upload, read etc. You might have seen that. When you want todo it manually you would have to store that token somewhere at your device or go over the authentication flow again. That said, lets come back to this in a few time as I am also a person that would like to have that In regards to the above, and not trying to blame syncmytracks that app does what in development we don’t do, store your password or ask it every time. That means that the app it self at some point does know the password. Depending on the protocol/method it uses, that password, in a way , can be exposed. Even in system logs as its STORED PLAINTEXT in order to be used to log you in. I bet you know the risks of that and how bad , or childish this method is. my 50c why this app/way does not look ok imo .

    You’re right that the Ambit 3 is not totally shafted, because of its bluetooth support, so it will be able to connect to the new app. Currently though configuration of the sports screens is not supported, according to this: https://www.suunto.com/en-gb/Content-pages/digital-service-transition/?sfmcid=c2ltb25AZnJleXRhZy5vcmcudWs%3D&linkid=suunto-app-learn-more&et_cid=4655608&et_rid=127259079&cmpid=crm|em|mm|mm|4655608&email=Suunto app_MC ramp-down&rid=13509907&lid=suunto-app-learn-more I’ve not found a roadmap that confirms it will eventually be supported? Do you have any info on this, would be great to see it? As well as doing the config in Movescount, I currently create routes and sync them back to my watch. Do you know if that functionality will be supported in the App? Again I’d argue that doing something like route planning works much better in a large screen environment. Plus all this is a bit of a moot point anyway, because I don’t actually have an Android or iOS device… though getting an Android phone is one option, it might be cheaper than getting a new watch.

    Do you have the Movescount app installed? If so, I would delete it. Is the watch paired in SA? or can you see your watch in SA? What happens when you try to initiate a sync?

    Movescount Notification for Suunto App is missing

    Yes, The notification is to watch a video is appearing the last few days. Did you get to see to download the Suunto App? Maybe I missed something I bet. so if the notification had said movescount is going to be sunset and there is a new app and to download this new app people would have reacted.

    @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos And I am happy to see Suunto app use the same maps as Movescount. Here’s hoping they create a web interface as well since it’s more than a bit fidgety to use the phone to create routes.
