I’d really like the ability to turn off vibration alert for notifications but still have it on for laps whilst in sport mode. Oh and be able to read the screen with just 2 data fields please
seconding this: having the vibration on in sports mode is very useful, as when you train in quite noisy environments it’s quite difficult hearing beeps…
It could be also useful having the possibility to change (most of the time: increase) the volume of sound alerts during sport modes.
@isazi Ok thank you! Just modified my pace and power zones to be more in line with what I feel and hopefully there won’t be any other problems for categorizing the runs.
But I still think it would be great to have the ability to modify them afterwards on the app just in case, because other people could have the same problem as I had. I guess I can’t modify the categorization of my last run after having synced the watch with the new zones and the app?
@savvase I have noticed whilst testing new sports modes (on SR) that even with wrist HR turned off in the settings it still defaults to on if a HR belt isn’t detected quickly enough.
Before starting the activity you can confirm which is in use by the icon at the top of the ‘start’ screen (heart with wings is HR belt or just heart for wrist HR), I haven’t found a way of confirming which is in use during an activity though…
Maybe it lost connection to your Polar belt & started using wrist instead ?

@David-l Hmmm…well, Ive decided to just sort of ignore that particular data for now until I hear there is a fix. It’s middle of winter and cold/rainy here anyhow. Since Im not running/riding a ton yet, this info isnt crucial (yet).
Not running? Mate that’s not good for the soul!
@logger i really don’t understand this. Having to turn off notifications every time you do an activity is just bad design. This is a super basic feature that every other watch company has. Suunto could probably implement it in a few hours as. I really don’t like notifications during activities. But I like them otherwise. And I don’t want to have to go back and forth all the time. It’s nothing like having to start an activity
By the time it comes we will be very happy for it.
I’m betting on bug corrections, software improvements and, just to keep life interesting, one or two new bugs!!! (Otherwise one or two of our members would have nothing to troll complain about .)
It being understood that everything can be improved, it is a good idea to inform yourself about what you are purchasing.
For convenience, I also use the Suunto app for mac os. So there are alternatives.
If I understand correctly the ramp rate is the gain/loss of ctl over time (42 days?). I noticed that the watch sometimes shows a gain exactly the same as my CTL.
Today my watch shows a CTL of 33 and a ramp rate of +33.
Is this a bug or is my understaning of ramp rate wrong?
