@Arselumaco make sure watch is tight enough on your wrist. If happening all the time try a watch restart by holding upper button down for 12 sec.

@thailon Sleep quality is there. Recovery time is now only present in the activity. This is also true for the Vertical.

@Durri My is not responding very well. No haptics almost at all. No crispy click, like crown is stucked. My Race is travelling tomorow to Vantaa Finland for service repair. Opened online repair request with issue as described! Will report how long the service will last.

@Theo-Lakerveld This happens with my vertical when I connect the vertical and the smartphone to a charger with two outputs for charging. It seems that the charger then switches on and off constantly.

@Brad_Olwin Thank you. Indeed. I desactivated the vibration in settings (as i did need the watch to vibrate while in menus). I reactivated vibration and now it works. The settings/options are still a bit confusing for me Thank you. Regards, Yan

@maszop I hope this clears up an issue. When you think something is a bug and you learn it works as intended we are simply saying that is how it is designed. Why the function was designed that way is something we cannot answer and there may be potential problems changing it or future plans that require the design despite your observation that it seems a bug… All we can do here is hopefully report and ask. We are not Suunto.

@luke55 Well, who knows, everything is possible maybe you have very sensitive skin … but I would say it’s unlikely. I guess it’s more probable that it’s blocking blood flow and pressing on wrist nerves.

@luke55 The sleep tracking least for me has improved substantially since its introduction and there will be ongoing improvements. The sleep tracking shows sleep phases, which I tend to have difficulty believing anyway as those are difficult to detect without professional equipment so I think not so basic. As you can see on the forums sleep tracking works very well for some, less for others. As I stated before you should wait until the watch notifies you of your sleep results, this is to prevent it from thinking you did not go back to sleep when you got out of bed in the middle of the night. You could turn off DND or do some other action before taking the watch off and the sleep notification will trigger.

Does anybody know if there is a ‘past’ route sync limit with the Suunto app? I have full mapping on Komoot with many routes already planned but after linking to the Suunto app it only appears to sync one route from last year. Any new created routes appear to make it over into the Suunto app but not a lot from before the link. Known bug?

@David-l I have my Race in DND all the time as I’m not interested in mobile notifications, it improves battery life massively & only takes a quick button press to wake up the watch to see the time (it continues to monitor 24hr HR/HRV). I’ve found that if I wake up the watch with a button press & start an activity (DND still enabled in the background) the Race tracks the activity, gives HR zones/map etc & everything works perfectly BUT doesn’t vibrate even though its turned on. I have to disable DND before starting the activity & then it vibrates as it should. Took me a while to work this out as I’ve just started using the race nutrition app & kept missing the reminders.

@Petr-Hudeček said in Brightness Suunto Race: https://youtu.be/zeJNkQjV2ok Are you pressing buttons to change screens? Or it does this by itself? The camera is moving so I’m not sure. If it’s doing it by itself, you should send your watch to service because I believe that is not intended behavior. Interestingly, when I use my Race on my spin bike, the display stays always on.

@UjcoCZ thank you for the confirmation. Out of interest do you get any intensity levels recorded with your Karoo rides within the Suunto App? I have downloaded the app and by using RunGap I have managed to get a lot of data in there; just to see how the platform works. So far I have the training load populated, it is not quite the same as my Training Peaks account but I can see that the TSS calculations use different methods; heart rate over power and the like. This appears to be pretty easy to fix for now but I do not have anything listed in the Intensity section. Would this be down to have actually having a watch paired with zones set, and as such there is no way for the app to know the zones in which to rank them. If you have a watch paired that has zones do your Karoo rides contribute to the intensity zones. [image: NfcJyIt] Cheers!
