      Hi,

Coming from Polar, I have some difficulties to understand the TSS algorithm.
On Sunday morning, I did a 43km trail with 1500m of elevation gain, the Suunto Race on my left wrist and the vantage V3 on the right.
FuelWize was a great help and is clearly something that I’m really missing with Suunto. It is native, easy to setup and adapts to the effort intensity. I tried using the Race Companion to setup my nutrition goals depending on the terrain and distance but it’s more complicated. But that is not the point of this thread.
Once the race was over, Polar V3 immediately told me I was over training and adviced me to make a simple dynamic mobility workout to prevent muscle pain (Nice recommendation).
With Suunto, I was loosing my fitness with a TSS of 363 and had to wait the next day to be productive !!! Is it a normal behaviour ?
With this picture, can you explain me how the algorithm work ? IMG_0009.jpeg

      Thanks

@Raphes67 it should be all explained here. Suunto does not use its own technology to deal with training stress and training, it uses TrainingPeaks IP.
