@ManuTrailEdge From what I have read in the Spanish Forum, they have all the info they need, so no need for new reports.

@elbee The truth is, there’s no watch in the world that can measure heart rate perfectly accurately while you’re moving. Of course, when you’re sitting still, optical heart rate sensors work quite well. But during movement, I think it ultimately becomes a limitation of physics.

I tried to create a Suunto Plus App for this purpose, but I ran into memory issues on the V1. Apparently the memory is very limited on the watches which makes it challenging to store a lot of data. I suppose it would run without any issues If only the 2s max, 10s and 100m categories have to be calculated. But the GP3S categories also include 1Nm, and 1h etc… Unfortunately I don’t have a lot of time right now to find another way. "if you don’t end your activity… " Yes but I did end it and was in trouble. All your answers make no sense and don’t address the point: Who is the genius in Suunto who decided you need to download tracks to a phone and then upload them back in order to be able to follow them on the watch? The data is already in the watch, let me use it, please! And besides, the battery of my watch outlasts the one of my phone, so the situation was not unexpectable (some of you who answered would probably come up with this great solution: make the battery of the watch last less

@Sir_Leberkas Race 2 works a bit slower after update. Noticable but still fast. I can imagine on Race 1 would be frustrating.

@elbee tnx for your help. Indeed that was the issue, tested it this morning. In the trainingsoptions menu there is als the option to switch off the wrist measurement.

@elbee I was looking for a ticket like this. Glad it’s not just me, but also annoyed.

@aiv4r said in Poor Resources algorithm: @galerna why do you even care about Resources if you only use watch to track workouts? It is clearly designed not for your use case. I can only emphasize this: Why do you care? Most people choose Suunto because they learned / decided not to rely on the metrics and scores the tech delivers and only use it as a supporting tool…

I have the same issue, but it is not only the latest firmware issue. In my case, this issue remains through the latest few firmware updates… For running I use heart belt and for walking and cycling wrist HR, but much more activities are ok then not ok. But when I didn’t have heart belt I was angry for this issue for running - for ruined values as you said…

@Mff73 thanks for the link. I unfortunately wasn’t able the past days to create the bug report, but will do as soon as possible.

@Olaf-Gottschalk As I wrote in your original post from 4 months ago, there’s a workaround without stopping the activity. After disconnect, switch to Tour battery performance in activity menu (long press bottom button), then switch it back to Performance. This disables and reenables watch’s Bluetooth and power meter reconnects to watch.

@Jan-Krejčí said in Bug: power meter loses connection in activity: will reenable watch Blueatooth again and the watch reconnects I don’t have a power meter to test, but if this works, it is a genius workaround! 🤯

Yes please. Coming from Garmin and really miss the tide feature. With the SuuntoPlus functionality it sounds like a easy task to add it. Aloha

Thanks @Egika, that shows indeed the distance within my run-bike-run seperately for running and biking, however when I pause the multisport I want to see my total running distance and running average pace. Is that even possible?
