      Hello,

I love my new Suunto Race, but it is missing a few features that would not require any hardware changes, which is a real shame.

I live in environments with lots of stairs, and I would love the watch to track my daily elevation gain, in the same way it tracks steps, without requiring me to start an activity. It is obviously not practical to keep an activity running 24/7.

Suunto should add a daily elevation gain counter, calculated using the barometric altimeter independently of recorded activities. It should also be available as a watch-face complication, so users can display it wherever they want.

This elevation gain should also be included in daily physical activity statistics. Even if it is not part of a recorded workout, climbing stairs is still physical exercise.

It would also be great to see the following improvements:

More customization options for daily widgets.
Automatic comparison against a reference route, including time, heart rate and pace, without requiring external tools.
Full use of Wi-Fi for map downloads, synchronization and software updates.
Automatic touchscreen deactivation when the watch detects immersion in water.

      Thank you for your help!
