@Girts-Gudrits 9PP, Vertical and Race are different from previous generation watches. You don’t get to choose from which GNSS to use but since the watch can use up to 32 satellites, all systems are being used all the time and the watch is choosing the best ones available.

@Piotr-Grygiel it used to be permanent prior to last firmware update.

@Danny-poleg so the App on the phone should automatically update AGPS if not there. If you can try again tomorrow and see if it was just a glitch, or if the watch cannot get AGPS at all.

@BastMaSVSRS9PP if you have 24/7 hr and you put your watch facing upwards the hr LEDs continue emitting and trying to get your hr. So turn that off

Didn’t know, but double tap works (worth to mention U need to be on widget screen -> not on main watchface :P)

@mlakis how about adding a hole for a “leash” to protect from losing the watch in case the holder falls off the handlebar (I assume it will be fixed with a rubber band)?

I have the same issue - suddenly sport modes stopped syncing on Suunto Race S. I can’t add any new mode. Android app in the newest version 4.92.5. Debug logs was sent.
Worked fine again with re-connected S9PP.
Also started working when I do a factory reset Suunto Race S
it’s rather not an app problem.
Lack of backup creation came back… It’s stil a pain when something happen during creating sport modes.

But as part of my work, I provide technical support for Suunto products in Israel and a customer contacted me, so the customer must be given an answer

@sartoric ok, i have downloaded the FIT file and converted it in Excel file.

If i take altitude point every 30s and keep only positive ascent i find a cumulative ascent of 3549m instead of 4100m in suunto app.

3549m seems closer to the right ascent.

Can someone of suunto support (@isazi ? @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos ?) look at this issue ?
It seems more a Suunto App issue

same with every 15s, i find a total ascent of 3692m algorithms from Runalyze give 3538m

@mickywickyftw I think the WYUR is a really good compromise, but it’s another €70 or so.

@isazi Thank you! It was on. Turning it off worked in terms of rise to wake… hopefully when I go to bed tonight it will be dark again.

@Ze-Stuart I had a similar situation on several versions of the previous software. On the current software 2.35.34 I have not yet observed any problems with the touchscreen.

As @Egika wrote, the memory capacity is now almost unlimited.

Synced or not synced, phone destroyed or not, with any other new phone, i may think that activities in the watch will resync to the phone by bluetooth (except hard reset or FW update in between).

Latest advise, don’t break the watch 🙂 (except if synced 😂).

@isazi it’s a silly question but i want to understand the functionality better…

It’s so powerful watch, i want to find out how i can destroy it from inside out 😆😆

@localful I pretty much always run using a stryd footpod as I find the instant pace data more accurate, especially for intervals. I don’t generally find over a race such as 10k there is much disagreement between the stryd and GPS but summer races with lots of tree cover and trail races have more disagreement (just like in training) 🙂
