@Juha-Ranta my understanding is: sport mode editing is done in movescount web and synced by cable. sync thru app will only be possible if you still have MC app installed, but will not be a sustainable option… unless Suunto integrates A3PS better into SA, editing sport modes by MC web and cable will be the way to go

Et pourquoi pas garder ton Ambit 2 et continuer à l’utiliser comme avant? Suunto va rendre compatible les « anciennes » montres avec SuuntoLink. Comme le faisait MovesLink. Ils ont annoncé également une plateforme web qui viendra « remplacer » Movescount. Je mets une pieces sur Quantifield Self que développe @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos. Il est community manager du forum. Il code bien, a de bonnes idées et il est ouvert et à l’écoute.

There is API support for Steps etc. Not sure about 24/7 hr as its not “officially available” I am the author of QS but I have not thought about importing or exporting that data, as many users tend to thing about them as uselless.

@Scoutc03 from Suunto app you can download the FIT file of your activities. FIT contains more information than GPX, but if you still need GPX, there are plenty of conversion tools around. Just pick one, even online.

@rob-t I am irritated as well. I had everything set up with tags and now this very useful feature is gone and my tags were lost with the transfer to the new platform. At least I can export my moves list from MC with tags, but then I have to make due with the GPXs as well if I want to build something myself. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted, time to move on and forget about Suunto.

I think Suunto is slowly winding down the service or if that’s not the case then the service is definitely having some issues lately.

@Jim-Anagnost sportmode customization is done in SA, not in the watch… did you do that maybe? It should give you a warning that you can’t connect to MC though… maybe a softreset could help?
