    @andrasveres Thank you for your quick replies on this thread and on the other one about body metrics / SA. After clearing cookies / closing my browser / restarting my PC, I’ve been able to request a new password with the “lost password” link and finally been able to log in to Movescount. I’ve been able to customize sports mode + a route and sync everything via SuuntoLink (as I always did, don’t know why I typed “Moveslink” ) thank you for your help !

    @John-van-Winkel I am locking this as the Movescount topic has been extensively discussed. If you would like to ask questions or critique the current app by pointing out what is missing that you need we could have a vote to improve the app. Movescount unfortunately is long gone.

    Thank you @Raimo-Järvi It’s not showing up in DM, so given that it is the same situation on two different machines, I suspect that the cable is faulty, or the GPSPod itself has failed.

    @Bradleyd, tx for the suggestion! I do have a work and personal account so tried as you suggested. Still no dice… In the install log it was getting a permissions error trying to delete the old …/AppsData/Suuntolink folder so I renamed it in the hope that a new install would create a ‘fresh’ copy. Unfortunately still no luck.

    @Zostrova Its still 1,5 years before the earliest shutdown of Movescount. What comes in the next 1,5 years we still don’t know, and I can’t believe Suunto let the ones with older watches stand in the rain. See the link in my signature, you can vote there for a web based service.

    On my iphone I had to go to “autolock” under “Display and Brightness” and select “never” and finally the sync continued to download all my activities. It took awhile.

    There is nothing preventing you from doing what you want. At the earliest in 1.5 years you may be impacted but at this time there is no issue. What the future actually will bring for A3 is not clear.
