@daniel-haeberli Try one of the tools from the link I posted. I’m sure tools like Quantified-self, runalyze, strava, goldencheetah as @Bulkan mentioned can fulfill your needs.

@pavel-samokha Ok, it was just a side-by-side comparison. The settings are there in Movescount web interface even without a bike pod. So maybe SuuntoLink is being a bit smarter by only offering this when paired. I did wonder if these were simply forgotten about for the Ambit. Similarly for “Automatic bike power calibration” and “Training Program”. All other settings seem to be present as far as I can see.

@Egika Ok, good to know. So even if it is not possible to sync activities, syncing POIs from Movescount is possible. But maybe I’ll wait for the mid January 2020 update.

Yea, I know the transition stuff. Was posting a response to a new members question. Something went amuck and it created this as a new thread. Oops.

@OldaNovak You are right: you cannot sync an Ambit2’s new moves with SA. At the moment that is entirely normal. MovesLink2 (croc-connector program) isn’t intended to sync with Suunto App at all so you won’t see any new moves there from a sync. As @jw-cou wrote, the transfer copied your existing Movescount data to the SA db which you can review but not, as yet, add to via Suunto App. Check out this recent post. Pre-Covid-19, Suunto stated that non-BT Ambit users will be able to have a “renewed experience” of functionality via the other cable sync program, SuuntoLink, “by summer 2020”. Check “Compatible watches”, May and November updates here.

@jenlun1 Being a Suunto user for a long time and having used 3 of their watches I can only agree with your opinion. I honestly tried the Suunto App for 2 months and found it lacking when compared to Movescount. Having logged close to 1700 activities in Movescount and then forced to switch to SA was a poor experience. In addition Movescount was an all in one app that did not require you to sign up to other third party apps in order to analyze my metrics. Suunto strategy going forward is very questionable and they have lost me as a repeat customer. Will definitely be looking for more user friendly watches & apps once my Ambit no longer works.

@André-Faria , if you want see what was there before whole digital transition thing kicked in, you could go through slides at the bottom of https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2016/06/suunto-rolls-out-refreshed-movescount-site-announces-new-spartan-ultra-gps-watch.html , 2nd half of those are about Movescount changes that went live in 2016.

Hi Dimitrios. thanks it is a manual fit export from Suunto app to Strava. The graph above looks accurate.
