@pavel-samokha I’ve noticed the same issue with older activities not displaying animations properly. It seems like only workouts synced directly from the watch to SA are working. Would be great if there was a way to support imported or older activities as well! Regarding the speed discrepancy, that’s an interesting find. The difference between the max speed shown in SA and the white flag animation does make it seem like a conversion issue. If it’s pulling from different data points (peak vs. recorded max), maybe there’s a way to standardize how it’s displayed? Also, I’d really appreciate having an option to manually switch between metric and imperial. Since it’s based on locale right now, it can be a bit inconvenient for those of us using different systems across devices. Hopefully, this is something that can be addressed in a future update!

@nelslynn Hi I did not say that this is the rule. I kinda asked if that can be the case for the missing track. I am looking into this issue further.

@lohtse I was angry but my believe in Suunto now is a bit bigger. I will tell them my angryness when they give me a definite reason… After the first shock that I have digested quite well I see chances… when my hope and wishes get drowned I’ll also go on strike, don’t worry

@Carles-Merin The 9 baro has a barometer and the 9 does not. The baro will be more precise and detect smaller changes that the 9 will not. My 9 always provides less total gain/loss than the 9 baro, similar for the Suunto 5. My 9 baro is very good, usually less than 5m off when on 4300m+ peaks.

@Carles-Merin that’s what all do that are not happy with SA yet. I’m syncing to SA for frequently checking how the app works but actually I am still 100% on MC. So yeah… give them time.

@Fiox89 come back here if you still experience issues. In general, you can calibrate a compass, even if the watch does not ask it (applies also to mobiles eg google maps etc) by doing manually that 8 figure gesture. Digital compasses can understand most of the times if they are uncalibrated when a big electromagnetic change happens eg the magnetic charger that the Spartans have. I hope it clears up a bit.

@margusl DigiKam installed on Windows and works great. Not so intuitive at the very beginning, but power is surely that price (free soft )

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos this perfectly makes sense, especially if you have trails which have different start/end points. (Badwater, WS100,…). If you like to adapt your training to fit to such a gain/loss in elevation for a race, this would be helpful.

@Bulkan then that means that rungap does not use an API but rather stores and uses your login info. Which is bad.

@malcyway said in Sport Mode Settings on Suunto App: @sartoric true true mahalo, I’ll do some searching. Wonder tho of altimeter graph shows baro reading as well as a work around. I’ll check it out. Well, the altitude graph during activity shows only the last 5 minutes so I am not sure that is useful for anything. I don’t know what Suunto was thinking when adding this feature.
