@pavel-samokha I’ve noticed the same issue with older activities not displaying animations properly. It seems like only workouts synced directly from the watch to SA are working. Would be great if there was a way to support imported or older activities as well! Regarding the speed discrepancy, that’s an interesting find. The difference between the max speed shown in SA and the white flag animation does make it seem like a conversion issue. If it’s pulling from different data points (peak vs. recorded max), maybe there’s a way to standardize how it’s displayed? Also, I’d really appreciate having an option to manually switch between metric and imperial. Since it’s based on locale right now, it can be a bit inconvenient for those of us using different systems across devices. Hopefully, this is something that can be addressed in a future update!

@dedo2319 I’m on iOS. Referring to the other comments added, I tried to copy/paste the text from other app (e.g. google keep), and it works, however, I can not see more then 3 rows if I review the activity afterwards.

@peten happy you find it, but difficult to follow you In the training log, there are your “activities”, “workouts”, “moves”, etc… you saved them with your watches. Then in the route menu (map icon), there are the “routes”. And in this route menu, you can create one from scratch on the map, or, exactly as you did, transform an activity path into a route, to let it be shared with a link to download the gpx track. /!\ for ambit, route creation is possible on SuuntoApp, but it is not possible to send it to the watch (you need to still use old movescount plateform and Suuntolink software : the one you use to transfer the moves from your watch to SuuntoApp now) But, if you want to download directly the fit file of one of your activity (not route), in the SuuntoApp then go in the activity details (in your training log, then click on this activity), and there will be a menu to “download fit file”.

@reinmanu said in Suggestions/Issues - is there any chance?: Hey guys, I registered me here, actually to bring some suggestions for the app - actually i was wondering why these things are not built in until now, because they are essential (not only for me, also for many friends of me). Things like: Web Interface Activity Names (It’s completly sensless, that there is the distance, average speed, time and the kind of sports but i can’t give the activity a name - i mean, do the developers use this app by themself?) Editing of activities And yeah, I saw here: I’m not the only one with this problems. I bought the Suunto 9 Baro because my experiences with the Ambit 3 Peak were great, Movescount was top and i expected the new Suunto App to be developed in this direction. And actually these features are not extremly hard to implement into the app, they already worked with the movescount app. The big question for me is: Is there any chance that it helps to give suggestions and hope for features or should i sell my Suunto watch? This is a official Suunto forum, and there are also developers commenting here, so i hope to get an answer. There is no sense in a lot of sensor on my wrist with no comfortable possibility to work with them, to be honest i’m really pissed aufter spending so much money… Greats Manuel All right… First I don’t like when you presume about the developers’ work . That statement is a wrong way to start here. Web development said and said. Use the “find” function, I wonder if some users use the find option in a forum… is so easy. Activity names totally possible. So I’m closing this, if you have a question, a real question, not solved in the forum ask again. But be kind with the work of others and assume you are the smartest one here.

@brad_olwin ah, damn. I can’t download a fit file from Healthmate. I can download all of my data as a .csv file however, although I don’t think that is much use? @Bulkan this is less about the S7 and more about the Suunto App, as this could happen with any Suunto device. Healthmate has a two way sync with Google Fit and can export and import steps at the same time (within the Healthmate app it shows the breakdown of your daily steps between the two apps, it’s really clever and handy!). Would be nice if the Suunto App did the same, as it could then still record my steps whilst the watch is charging, or i forget to put it on, or i wear a different watch that day, etc… I guess for now I’ll have to add it as an all day walking activity?

@regger I use the lap button if I want to have different section metrics for my activity, for example rest time will be a separate lap. I rarely use pause and then only when I actually stop doing my activity for a while. However it would be nice to see some section stats not just for manual laps, but when using pause too.

@lazenbyl1 activity editing has some issue (at least on iOS) and I’ve confirmed this here, which I believe has not been corrected yet (if you are using the latest version of the app). See that topic for more details on our findings. Update: also it would be great if you could provide a version number for both, Suunto app and SuuntoLink you are using. Oh, and there is no easier way to delete multiple activities AFAIK.

Thank you for linking my question to a feature request. So obviously nobody knows how two watches and two phones will merge in the account?

@freeheeler I’ve never tried to forget the phone from the watch side. Will have a look. Even if you turn Bluetooth/pairing off on the watch, I think you still need to ‘forget’ it in the Suunto app before you can pair a different watch. I always try to run to one side to allow cyclists to pass. My worst ‘silent’ experience from pre-aftershokz days was a dog nipping at my ankle out of the blue. That was what persuaded me I needed a different way to listen to things whilst out and about in the middle of nowhere.

@kuba-sarata said in How to edit a move in suunto app?: @brad_olwin thanks for sharing this option. This would be a good idea for syncing new moves, that’s right. I’m not sure though how the historical data imported from MC behaved and it’s impossible now to find all of the errors. Maybe you know were the moves imported from the data entered to MC or somehow from the raw files imported from the watch? At the same time - just clicking ‘edit’ and entering a correct value is still much much easier Not for a lot of moves, it really would not matter. The import was tested and unlikely to result in errors. There is information that does not transfer. I understand why you may want adjustment of values but this is how the app is currently set.

@gidzy To follow @André-Faria & @andrasveres, if you want to extract a GPX track rather than a route, here’s @Mff73’s guide to doing so for free. I’d just add that, if you’ll be using that track on a computer anyway, you can export the activity’s FIT file from the App and extract the track GPX using a utility like GPSBabel.
