@pavel-samokha I’ve noticed the same issue with older activities not displaying animations properly. It seems like only workouts synced directly from the watch to SA are working. Would be great if there was a way to support imported or older activities as well! Regarding the speed discrepancy, that’s an interesting find. The difference between the max speed shown in SA and the white flag animation does make it seem like a conversion issue. If it’s pulling from different data points (peak vs. recorded max), maybe there’s a way to standardize how it’s displayed? Also, I’d really appreciate having an option to manually switch between metric and imperial. Since it’s based on locale right now, it can be a bit inconvenient for those of us using different systems across devices. Hopefully, this is something that can be addressed in a future update!

Strange development — now the feature seems to also be gone from the android version. I’m sad it is gone!! I sure hope it comes back in some form, at least as an option that you can toggle on and off on the map! Where’d it go??? Now there is no way (that I can see) to find other Suunto app users on the map on either android or iPhone, unless you know their name and specifically search for them— similar to Runkeeper. Let me know if I’m missing something!

@malcyway In SA you will not be able to specify barometer as these are set for the activities. You can use both apps to maintain route POIs as I do and I still like my training calendar to be loaded. However, you must choose between SA custom profiles or MC. Once you sync to the MC app the MC profiles will be loaded into the watch and you loose the SA ones. You will need to rebuild them every time, which I gave up doing. Once we get training calendars implemented in SA and hopefully waypoints, I will be done with MC.

@flypg said in SA sync with Suunto 9 Baro and sport mode customization: @silentvoyager Thanks, but the last time that I did this from MC worked perfectly (GPS Recording Interval). OK, I’ve just tested that. You are right Movescount creates a custom power profile with settings selected in Movescount in addition to the three standard battery modes. Not all settings are included though. For example barometer mode isn’t included. However the same can easily be done directly on watch by selecting Ultra power profile or selecting a custom profile and changing your settings there. That’s probably the reason it isn’t a high priority to support that in SA.

100 mile with 5000ft is basically a flat ride. The difference could be given by the known method of calculating the height difference. The barometric watch calculates as difference in height 3m consecutive, the gps clock every 7m. Thus, if on a substantially flat lap, there are ups and downs within the 6 consecutive meters, these are not considered. On the contrary, in a continuous climb, we assume from 300m to 800m, the positive height difference shown by a gps watch and a barometric one should be the same.

@nassosc Yep it is, even it would be nice to have a sort of bi-directional sync (just for the counter) even if this is really related to the personal taste.

When you started using Suunto App, did you use your old SportsTracker account to log in or registered as a new user? Registration made through Suunto App should result with confirmation mail with you username and e-mail from app@suunto.com . And if you find that mail, it’s also indication that you are having at least 2 different accounts.

@Santo-Tessari It should also be in SA directly in future versions, but when… That is why this trick has been développed to help.
