Nice list, @Brad_Olwin! I think a 4-stage process would serve us well here:
Fix the POI names on the watch (I have a ticket about that: I think they said ‘thanks for the great idea!’).
Add functionality to the app so we can open a GPX route made by other software in it, and then send it to the watch. If the app already uses GPX, then I don’t imagine this would be that hard to code. This would let us create a GPX with existing software that supports offline maps - say, Galileo - and send it into the Suunto sandbox.
Upgrade the navigation functionality so that whilst recording an activity new POIs/routes can be used (or is this already a thing…?)
